I'm a software developer. I'm lucky to actually kind of enjoy my job and along with my parents and siblings it's one of the few things that keep me going. And thanks to the salary it wasn't too painful spending 2k€ on a SCBA inert gas setup...

I'm a paramedic. Sometimes it feels complicated being on this website and being pro-choice in regards to suicide, since sometimes my job necessitates talking people down from it, and I think if my employer or regulating college knew about this account/my opinions on suicide they might not be that happy with me, but alas here I am.

I failed at sales for 6 years, got an accounting degree, and instead of getting into that I delivered catering for ten years. That industry is suddenly dead and a dead end and now my accounting degree is useless

I'm semi retired, I took a downsizing package a year ago. In hind site I wish I hadn't offered to go. My new found spare time allows me to rethink all my bad life choices and mistakes, including leaving my 40 year career.
