i consider myself a total optimist. but, some studies show optimists in general would have less suicidal ideation .. while others say optimism would be nearly necessary to bring one to want to ctb
what do you guys think?
i also can't reconcile how i have hope things will get better .. while simultaneously feeling the hopelessness that would perhaps be necessary to want to ctb
i think it's less about being hopeless of the future for me .. and more about the unbearable pain i feel of the inevitable journey of reaching said hope.
and i feel ultimately ctb would have me reach that state sooner .. or make the yearning of wanting to reach a better state .. obsolete all together.
