He has to use a walker and is in and out of the hospital with all kinds of medical conditions. His legs were badly injured, terrible concussion, and some internal organ damage mostly his kidneys suffered impact trauma.

Also, I work in mental health and worked with a first responder recently who described how terrible it was to see people who had successfully died using suicide by train. It really is traumatic for others.
