What's everyone's thoughts on caffeine OD suicide?

Adding alcohol to most methods just increasing the chance of vomiting, which usually means a poorer chance of death.

On exception is opiate od, where the alcohol can potentiate - but still increase the risk of vomiting.

There was a fairly recent posting of someone who drank too much while trying to use CO. The vomiting made the whole plan unworkable.

Nah, meth is like the fentanyl of stimulants. Cheaper per potency unit so it is dumped into everything that's meant to have a stimulating effect. It will likely be in your speed, crack, coke, Adderall and Ritalin, ecstasy and MDMA etc. There will also likely be ephedrine and caffeine in those. As well as miscellaneous other active and inactive substances. But even if you do get your hands on something sold as actual meth, it will likely still be a mixture of things.

With an unregulated market, all bets are off. Three cheers for the war on (people who use) drugs.

That reminds me that there's a entire community on reddit dedicated to treating caffeine as if it was a street drug, like they extract caffeine from energy drinks and adderall, they snort it and they call themselves dollar store meth addicts. I found that community hilarious. But anyways, I had no idea adderall contained meth, are you sure sure?

First off, I don't understand how or why I am still alive. My guardian angel must have been watching real close last suicide attempt cause that's all I can think of. I had the equivalent of 100+ cups of coffee running through my system, only just shy of the full lethal dose. I doubt that minor error would have made a difference. People have died both accidentally and purposefully off less, why not me?! Back to the drawing board I guess.

I found that community hilarious. But anyways, I had no idea adderall contained meth, are you sure sure?

haha yep, never done specifically that but the process of extracting and converting things is fun in and of itself. the ritual becomes an addiction / hobby even beyond the substance.

it depends where you live and where you source your adderall. where I am, street adderall - usually orange 30mg - does contain meth. at least the pills I have tested thus far do. but if you get yours from someone with a prescription, it will just be a 3:1 ratio of dextroamphetamine and levoamphetamine.

desoxyn is prescription dextromethamphetamine. it's used as last resort for adhd and short term for obesity.

Thank you for your comments. I thought caffeine OD was quite a bulletproof method - in the way that it's long and painful but you will surely die in the end. But yeah it seems to be rather unpredictable like a lot of other methods, not to mention I would love to think that I can just do it first try but the realility is that I'm most likely going to mess up in one way or another.

Ok so I don't know if I have adhd but I do have maladaptive daydreaming which seems to be considered a symptom of adhd. So I might be able to get my hands on adderall and maybe even desoxyn.

Yeah it's a struggle, the second try I most likely would've died has I not sought treatment. I don't think I was fully aware of it at the time, given SI had kicked into full gear.

I don't give this information to either encourage or discourage necessarily but I at least want you to be aware to any risks or anything good/bad before you jump headlong into something.

Hope you've given your possible decision as much thought as possible and tried to fix your predicament with other methods first. I wish you peace whatever happens.

I overdosed on caffeine tablets as a kid thinking id get high as hell.
I had the most awful feeling. Hot and cold sweats pounding headache anxiety.
Fuck that shit. Much rather go buy some dope and float off on a cloud imo, but to each their own

Super shitty method tbh. I once saw something like that during my first shifts in my paramedic internship. Young lady took 30 tabs of some coffein+aspirin med (don't remember the brand name). Other than vomiting and a pretty crazy tachycardia the case was still only a lower priority code (when you start out you are put on the smaller EMS vehicle that tends to drive less "severe" stuff). She was in an unaltered state of consciousness and ended up in the general ER.


If you want to die seriously take some time to gather stuff that has the effectiveness and reliability. Else your just going to end up in the hospital and trust me it's not going to be a nice experience for you and your relatives. Oh and also keep in mind that if you choose a long and painful method you are probably going to call the EMS by yourself as physical agony probably will pull you out of your death wish.

1g probably isn't close to enough. but I do drink a lot of very strong coffee. I'll have a 6 shot tall with caffiene enriched coffee and add 4 40mg STOKs so that's probably 400-500mg in one serving and can do that several times a day.

if you get adderall from a prescription it will not have meth in it and you'll need to take a lot more to overdose. I wouldn't recommend it. better use the adderall to focus on finding an efficient and less drawn out method.

ODing on stimulants is a very, very bad way to go. Honestly not a good method. Don't bother.

Reminds me of drinking so much water till you die or eat that much salt that you die. I would advice against that and would not recommend it to anyone. For me this sounds too easy and I am not an expert. I will safely not use it. However my water record was like 4,5-5 liter a day.

The easiest way to go is by ingesting pills to knock you out with booze whilst in the position of partial. You'll never know anything of what happens.
