Like what do you think of afterlifes, reincarnation, or just the thought that maybe there's no afterlife and you just become nothing after you die. Which one do you want the most? Which one do you want the least?

I think that the concept of an afterlife has been made by humans to cope with their own mortality. As for what I want the most, I'd want there to be no afterlife and instead just permanent non existence. As for what I want the least, I wouldn't want it to be where there's an afterlife with my body and memories being retained. I personally don't mind reincarnation as I believe that what makes me... me is my memories and experiences which aren't going to be transferred from my current life to my next life so, in essence, I may as well view reincarnation as permanent non existence from the perspective of my current life. I'd be super miserable if I were to be resurrected with my memories and body intact

I know and have seen that afterlife is real,as for what I want the most:reincarnation is definitely cool since gives a potential propose (exemple:the homeless astrology man told me i should learn how to love and laught in my 127th life, let's go) to life and makes someone past life's a kind of line of experiences and wisdom.

As for what I want the least:...afterlife is pretty cool, but it has significant down sides too, from haunting, suffering and generational curses, life would be better without it's counterpart:afterlife

I just don't, I believe death to simply be non-existence which is all I wish for, I only hope to be unconscious for all eternity where this painful and torturous existence is all forgotten about, I only hope to never exist again, I'd never wish to exist no matter what especially as existence truly has only ever caused me to suffer.

I hope there's nothing but I don't have a faith or enough lack of faith to have a firm idea on what comes next.

People who believe in things that are not visible or otherwise scientifically proven are either schizos or stupid.

I am a Bible believing Christian. I definitely believe in an afterlife according to Scripture. I am a Jewish Christian/Messianic Jew. I believe in the entire Bible, which is both the Hebrew Bible (known commonly as the Old Testament) and New Testament.
Per the Bible, there are 2 options: with God and without pain and sorrow for all eternity, or separated from God for all eternity.
Per the Bible, we are all sinners. And God provides a way to be forgiven from our sins.
Per the Bible, the reason Jesus died on the cross was so that we, the ordinary sinful people, could have forgiveness of our sins. The Bible clearly states that Jesus came into our world for sinners, and not for the "righteous".

I am NOT righteous. I am just a FORGIVEN SINNER.

I used to believe the Bible was written many years ago as an explanation for a lack of scientific knowledge. But then one day, after multiple things happened in my life including wondering whether I should kill myself, God opened my eyes. I went through a time of REPENTANCE, and that is what leads to forgiveness.
FAITH + REPENTANCE = FORGIVENESS

However, receiving God's forgiveness does not really mean that one's life is then easy. My brother killed himself 1 year ago yesterday! I loved him!! I have physical pain that is getting worse!

But I KNOW that when I die I WILL BE WITH GOD FOR ALL ETERNITY because He promised this in the Bible! This is NOT based on whether I feel good and happy (I don't much of the time). But it IS based on FAITH in HIM and HIS WORD (the Bible is His Word because He inspired men to write it). I trust Him!

I am in a support group with CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF SURVIVORS OF SUICIDE LOSS (I lost my brother 1 year ago and am experiencing complex grief). They teach that suicide is NOT an unpardonable sin (and Jesus states in the Bible that there is only 1 unpardonable sin and it isn't suicide).

Thank you for letting me post this! You know, the world wants me to be silent about my faith/belief, but on this forum I can tell it like I feel it and I so appreciate this!!

Much love to all who are struggling with life and thoughts of death of self. I wish I could hug you all!

Who knows. Maybe if the universe goes into heat death, but nothing decides to fluctuate its quantum fields again, maybe another big bang. Idk. Being alive now is already evidence that conscious living beings can go from a non-existent state into an existent one.

Took hell of a long time to get here to the moment we exist, maybe even longer depending on who knows what shenanigans went on before our big bang. Maybe a hell of a long time later after we die, we exist again. Not necessarily anything like the universe is what it is now, the universe being a thing with stars, planets, black holes, and antimatter is kind of arbitrary from a certain perspective.

Who knows, either way no matter what it's outside of my control, I'm just going to focus on myself and the people around me right now, because that's the most real experience going on for me while I'm alive here.
