What would you do if you were in the same situation but just as a man living in Russia?

I am already male. But only men have to go to war. This is why I used this condition. I am not sure whether they let people with psychosis experiences fight. I assume yes. Maybe without weapons and just as cattle to get slaughtered as a distraction for the enemy.

I am just really discontent with my life and life quality recently. And my thought was. At least I am I not living in Russia where they would get rid of me in a war because I am wasting too much resources. I heard there are Russian women who marry workers from foreign countries like India. Just to report them later so that they are forced to the war. And they get the reward if they fall. Such a sick world.

And the North Korean soldiers got addicted to porn when they had their first access to the internet.

I think I would be in a state of constant terror and anxiety. However, maybe my misery would end way earlier. In some ways there is less worrying if you cannot escape your fate anyway and other people determine your death and life. One could argue for the opposite though. It might depend.

I think in a war I would become psychotic pretty easily. I am not sure whether Russian soldiers get antipsychotics I doubt it. I would probably be a target of mockery in my own crew and they would tie me naked at a tree and beat me up like a piñata. Or as a distraction for the enemies. When they see how my body blows up, hit by a drone and they say WHAT THE FUCK.. Then for this split second they are distracted. And I died an honorable death. (that gets filmed to get posted on reddit later...)

Maybe this thread has one motto for me. Others have it worse.

I am not sure. I think my family wouldn't want me to be dead. Maybe in Russia this would be different. But I could also sacrifice my life and hope that my loved ones will at least get payed for it. I heard though that many widows got scammed.

What a sad thread.

I am not sure whether I would be aware that I belonged to the evil side. Maybe if they beated me up I would realize that eventually.

I'm envisioning a truck dumping mentally ill and elderly people at the front line, who then walk around like zombies. Needless to say, the strategic value wouldn't be there.
They'd be of more value packing ammunition at a factory, or loading trucks, or some other logistical task.

It's safe to say that Russia tries to do meaningful gains. The propaganda tries to paint a picture, where they just send people to die, but they are in fact and quite obviously trying to win the war.
I think the U.S. have made several demonstrations on how hard it is to control territories that doesn't want to be controlled. It's not just down to incompetence.

You'd be more likely to end up in a Ukrainian propaganda video. Showing ones own soldiers getting blown up, is not good propaganda.

I don't think there's any evil side on the ground. You'd most likely see only one side of the propaganda, and you'd most likely be too busy to think much about the underlying politics.
