I find this a fascinating question. I once did a thread with a similar question but I cannot find it.

People on her say uncertainty about someone's fate is worse than the certainty someone kill themselves. But for me that's different. I have the hope a miracle happened for the person or they just got annoyed by this website or mad at this forum and never wanted to come back online.

I cannot really imagine a situation where I voluntarily would quit this forum. When I was in a short relationship I didn't need this forum. But this didn't last long. I keep getting back to this site over and over again.

I think it is quit unlikely I killed myself and no one on here would know about it. I think if I killed myself I hid my plans in front of friends and family in real life and not in front of people on here.
I am not very impulsive. I cannot imagine a situation where I spontaneously kill myself. I take the train often and I sometimes imagine to throw myself in front of it. But the statistics are way too scary and that's way too much of a gamble for me.

The most likely explanation might be a medical emergency, an accident, a coma if I stopped posting without explanation. In the future poverty could be a reason for not having access to the internet. I am not sure whether boredom would be the best explanation. Temporary happiness would probably be a better explanation. Like a hypomanic episode.

I imagine my suicide or if an accident happened I wish people on here would learn about the outcome of my life. I imagine writing my friends a note or planning a message with the password for my account so that they can log in and inform the members about my death/coma whatever. I am not sure whether they would feel comfortable with this task.
Honestly, if I had a heartattack and simply died in my sleep tonight I would consider this a very good outcome in the situation I was in for the past years. I could imagine a stroke many family members had strokes and I am in major stress all the fucking time..but usually you don't die at my age...you just get damage...

It would probably be if I died suddenly from an accident or something like that. It could easily happen, all it would take is a drunk driver hitting me on my way home from work and boom I'm just gone. Only other thing could be a heart attack that kills me out of nowhere or a brain aneurysm. Anything crazy like that could happen and it's one of the reasons why I want to have control over how and when I die. Makes me feel like I have some control over my life ya know?

But if I do end my life on purpose, I would want Sasu to know about it and how much it meant to me that the site was here because it's the only place where I've truly felt understood in a very, very long time. Probably why I come back to it so much and also part of why I haven't actually ended my life yet. Without Sasu, I probably would've been gone a long time ago from some gory method.

A divine illumination would descend upon me, and I wouldn't be able to waste time on Sasu anymore. 205962d

But seriously, either I would accidentally get hit by a train, or I would be killed by a rus drone.
In any other case, I would let the forum know

I haven't been here very long and would feel pretentious creating a "goodbye" thread, but perhaps that would be better than triggering a silver alert for an emaciated figure wandering the highway while losing an imaginary argument with St. Augustine and the singer from Depeche Mode.

I won't get better so the most realistic reason would be that I'm in the psych ward for whatever reason. Fingers crossed it's because I died though.

While I would like others to find happiness over death (if possible), a selfish and hypocritical part of me prefers the certainty of a death over the uncertainty over a disappearance. It might be a selfish want for closure, even if it's none of my business.
