Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I think there were many threads about what is your most controversial take. But the weirdest take would be way funnier.

I recently have been thinking a lot about autism. I go to a diagnostic facility soon. My mom had to fill in an observer rating. And there are some interesting insides. Like DFW said you can a learn a lot from someone even if this person isn't all that smart. It is especially interesting because she is neurotypical. There were some statements my neurodivergent friends would have ticked completely different. My mom expressed I had no sense of humor. Lol. I want to post about this later in a different thread.

I think a lot about my weirdness. Seeing a value in being a mass poster on here might be one weird thing about me. I think I exclude thoughts and takes I had while being in an acute psychosis. Pretty early in my first psychosis I told my mom while studying. "Mom I think I can read the minds of other people. Then I tried to explain her what she was thinking." She was sort of puzzled and told so much this was enough studying for today. Pretty early in my psychosis most people found other explanations than a psychosis for my behavior. I was confused about my behavior too. Later I considered I was gay as potential reason for some behavior or that stopping masturbation made me go insane. Yes all of this was crazy but I think takes while being in an acute psychosis should not count let's be fair guys...

I think takes while being in a mixed manic-depressive episodde should count. All kind of different conditions and my biography played a role. The first therapist in a clinic made fun of the following. I will explain it afterwards.

I told him with 15 my drive to study increased significantly. And with each year the drive became stronger and stronger. With 18 I started to think In my life I never want to do anything except studying for the rest of my life. (This is what child abuse and bullying do to you...) This is my weird take. I think it is sort of weird. The therapist tjoked. 18 what a great age at your age the only thing I could think of was studying too. To his defence he thought I had a really really good prognosis. There were some indicators that my psychosis was really harmless. He told myself something like you didn't take drugs your problems remained reversible and solvable. I also had a special relation to this therapist. My prior obsession to the quantum physics professor.

Honestly, I could talk a lot about weird takes that I held throughout my life. I think changing my perspective and becoming flexible is one fututre goal for me. And maybe new experiences are sometimes more insightful than reading a couple of hundred articles about all sorts of issues. But my resources are limtited and often I am not all that stable. For example this thread probably would not have been written if I went to my self-help group this evening.
