Mine was a 1978 Chrysler Alpine a really boring car, but with loads of room in the back.
I have wasted a fair bit of money on cars over the years...

'65 Mustang fastback with 170,000 miles and a bad transmission. The transmission was the most notable of the many problems a high mileage vehicle from that era was prone to develop. Horrible on snow and a deathtrap in a collision owing to a lack of modern safety features we take for granted today. Note: that's not the actual vehicle I owned below in the pic, but that's pretty much how it looked other than the color. I eventually sold it to a classic car enthusiast who planned to restore it.

Some sweet looking cars here:)

I got my first car in 1998, it was a 1990 Trabant :D
Europeans, especially Eastern Europeans will be familiar with it.

For American users here is a pic.

If those kids turned up on my front porch on Halloween I'd chase 'em away with a flamethrower.

I had a friend with a VW Rabbit a couple decades ago (maybe longer if I'm being honest, but I don't want to count back that many years). It was a nimble little performer and very reliable. Then her boyfriend ran it up a canyon without oil one day on the way to work and it threw a rod. I suppose one could argue it was her responsibility to check the oil since she was the legal owner, but by that time he'd become the de facto owner and put the bulk of the miles on it. Oh well, not here to lay blame, but that Rabbit only had one life. Maybe they would have fared better with a car named after a cat.
