Taking on risk or doing something stupid because you'll be dead soon anyway. There has to be a word for it?

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

i tried to give away my digital cameras to one of my friends, saying i didn't want them anymore when i've liked photography since high school. i'm still thinking about giving them away to someone that'll actually care about them, but i'd really miss using them even if i gave them away a day before my suicide. i can only imagine giving away such a big collection and then regretting it.Gave away my entire My Little Pony collection with rare dolls and exclusive items...... hundreds of dollars and many years of childhood memories gone. I am still devastated. I really wish I just kept it. My Little Pony has been a life-long hyperfixation and as silly as it sounds, I still feel so heartbroken about all my stuff being gone. I just didn't care anymore at the time.
Same, I wasted 10k before my attempt. Bought the 6000€ knife to stab myself with and blew the rest on a three month long bucketlist trip to Australia and Japan. It never even occurred to me that I might survive so I didn't care about spending the money. It was liberating.Wasted 10k. Gulp. Can't even tell you a single thing I bought.

Oh no I did stab myself, I just survived. You can read a post I made about it here if you're interested. The knife cost so much because it was an antique made by a famous swordsmith almost 200 years ago. I didn't care about paying so much because I thought I would die soon after anyway. Now it is by far the most valuable thing I own. That is a crazy amount of money for a knife. May I know why it cost that much?
Glad you didn't go through with it, self-stabbing sounds awful.
Same. I have ten shirts and they don't fitI completely got rid of everything I owned, there was nothing left.
Pretty disappointed after the failure.
