Got lots of hobbies, anime, manga, video games, music, books, movies, bowling, gym, sauna, swimming, walking in nature, but problem is....it is sometimes hard to enjoy them when having anhedonia.

Arts hobbies - painting and fashion right now. They both are making me really about the possibilities and so my new way of coping is to find one person to be a friend who wants to collaborate. I find people very stressful but maybe I can find one person in my city like me to be friends as we go exploring fashion making and put together clothing :)

Only hobby I have left now is gaming so that's my choice, it's nice because if it wasn't for it I'd probably have no one to talk to and maybe the people I play with aren't that close to me but I could call them friends and I look forward to talking to them almost every day

Creative/art related things work the best for me. Though most creative hobbies have quite a steep learning curve, you need to have decent skills to make something that really gives you any satisfaction.

At my worst I had two main hobbies which kept me doing anything, namely coding and html (I elaborated more on that in another post: https://sanctioned-suicide.net/threads/hobby-recommendations.200367/post-2971735) and drawing, both classic pencil and paper and digitally on my tablet. I didn't really have much creative capabilities at that time so I mostly drew other people's characters/fanarts, which was still cool I guess because even when I didn't enjoy it at least someone could enjoy it. Like damn people really love getting art of their OCs even if it's not great, it's just very nice, so I guess it was something like a combo of doing something semi-creative and doing something for others.

These things are not physically challenging (as I have VERY low energy levels while in a bad state so I'm pretty much limited to things that I can do on my laptop while lying in bed) and sometimes, just sometimes, a bit rewarding even when I didn't care about anything. So yeah there's that.

Also writing fictional stories, making OCs and fictional universes is something that has kept me going for most of my life. Though I can't really do it when I'm at my worst, as my mind goes blank. But during the better times I work on my stories and they kinda motivate me to live overalk, I guess. They also helped me escape the actual problems of reality in the past. A bit of escapism is not something bad, I guess.

A friend of mine does crocheting. It's not that hard to get started, and it's relatively cheap to try, but requires a bit of patience. But I would recommend it especially to people who like repetitive, calming things. Not for me personally but I get the appeal tbh, especially if you do amigurumi (plushies), it can be quite rewarding.

Just the gym. My off days I am just a mess. I also browse the web and listen to music, assuming you consider those hobbies, other than that, anhedonia has ruined my the rest of my previous hobbies for me.

it used to be drawing and writing :( but right now it's really bad where i can't do that. but!! it helped me a lot express my feelings, i still do it in my head and it helps me fall asleep. right now i'm spending money on random things i (kinda) want, it's fun being able to open packages with things i'm interested in.. plus it's a sin to die before your packages arrive!! lol

when i'm in the mood and have enough energy, nothing feels better than getting a guitar cord right and being able to play a small section of your favorite song :P

Models and gaming (rpg, table-top miniatures). Model building makes me concentrate, same with painting minis. Gaming gets me out with people doing something I like. They also become life bitch sessions when we take breaks.

Of course, it's about having fun. Even if making fun of others can make me happy, that's pretty good.

I've found a few nerdy online communities and I plan to become more active in them once my work slows down next month.

I also got a second job that has helped out a ton with my finances. The second job is also related to my hobby. Won't say for privacy reasons.
