I seem to feel a lot worse at night, so I'm interested to see if anyone else experiences similar patterns.

Usually in the mid afternoon or early evening.

That's when I've run out of things to keep my mind busy enough to avoid the thoughts.

I'm wishing to die every waking moment basically. I cannot stand existence and I view it as being such a terrible thing simply just being aware of this world, so of course wishing for suicide is just the natural response to me being here. I probably feel the worst when I wake up as I'm always disappointed that I didn't pass away in my sleep and I hate the fact that another day of this existence lies ahead.

When I wake up in the morning , within a few seconds I realize everything and everyone is gone. I am alone. I hide inside my blanket and curl like a baby. I look for my phone and quickly play YouTube .

Pretty much all throughout the day- but I would say night is toughest. In the middle of the night I can't call my best friend, who during the day can always talk me off the proverbial ledge. In the middle of the night there is no one.

Morning. Maybe it's because by afternoon and evening I kind of get used to what I'm feeling, but when it's morning just after waking up there's this shock of 'oh, I'm still alive, it's another day' then thoughts of why I'm feeling heavy, draggy and dull comes banging one right after another in quick succession. The depression is more.. impactful, so to speak.

I feel the same level of suicidal every single moment of the day and night. Nothing changes, the same desperation all the time.

Evening after work, often have thoughts on my value in this world / what am I doing with my life?

I'm curious to know the opinion of those who selected morning, as I really get worse at night usually.

At night... you recall your day, think about where you're going, there's silence, darkness and solitude...

And it's like I can hear my thoughts screaming at me in the silence.

Both when I wake up and when I go to bed (or keep postponing it).

Waking up is more of the LDAR variety. Going to bed is the panic kind. Both destroy me.

But I feel shitty throughout the day, trying to keep the thoughts at bay.

Yes exactly. Sometimes I feel like I just woke up at 39 and am like, "what have I done?" Why is everything here such an uphill battle.

During night. During day I distract myself while working or studying. Although I am not motivated to do those activities.

By day, I keep myself as busy as I can. But when it's night and no one is up, everyone is sleeping comfortably except me, the tone is not the same. I'm often alone with my thoughts and suicide is like a comfort blanket. I "day"dream a lot about it at night.
