For this world to permanently disappear into nothingness of course. This evil place is an abomination, it should never exist. The fact that life exists in the first place is a terrible, horrific tragedy, it's really disgusting how the existence of life has ultimately caused so much endless suffering and meaningless torment, in fact existence causes nothing but harm.

To me it's like a virus how deluded humans so selfishly continue to procreate even know existence is only suffering and I believe that all suffering is unacceptable and best avoided. Only eternal nothingness is true perfection, the only peace lies in the absence of everything.

I wish we could learn to show greater respect to those who are different from us. (If we could learn how to have greater understanding too, that would be even better, but maybe it's not possible to really understand people who are different from us, or whose life experiences are very different from ours.) It's something I have always tried to do, and I can reasonably claim to have had some success, but nowhere near 100% success.

The problem is basically one of biology. Humans evolved in a world in which we spent almost all our time in our own small group (typically 10 - 50 people). We evolved to be very wary of anyone from outside that group, anyone a bit "different", in case they might be a threat - because they often were. But what helped us to survive back in the Stone Age is now a liability. Today, someone different from me is very unlikely to be a threat to me, but the biological response to anyone different is so deep-seated that it keeps surfacing even when we don't need it. The way I deal with it is to accept that prejudice against anyone very different from me is a natural response, and is going to happen sometimes, so I shouldn't feel uncomfortable with myself if I start to feel it, but I do have an obligation to then suppress that primitive response and respond in a more rational way.

I want replicators like on star trek but for everything, not just food. At first they would probably be controlled by the rich, but people would be replicating replicators in no time. Then food would be free and so would everything else. No more trucks polluting the world just to get us our precious travel-size deodorants and cheetos. That alone would probably curb climate change. And the replicated food would all but do away with animal ag, except for the holdouts who didn't trust the replicated foods, and I get that.

It's tragic so many of us are driven to suicide because governments and pharmaceutical companies don't care.

The countries that do care just don't have the resources.

Most of the major players are in the UK or US and its more profitable to keep people sick. Neither country does much on suicide prevention and its too easy for people to kill themselves yet so hard to get help.

Progress often starts with somebody's far-fetched dream. I have to say that Star Trek replicators does seem very farfetched, but something like the internet would have seemed utterly far-fetched when I was a child, so who knows what might be possible?

Even a little kindness and understanding can go a long way.

If we're talking about reality as a whole, the best thing to wish for would be a total removal of all consciousness, and somehow a total containment of all consciousness from ever appearing. But that's just a kind of maximally ideal fantasy wish sort of thing.

If we're talking about Earth only... something would have to go "wrong" where someone benevolent(or pro-socially psychopathic) were to somehow gain totalitarian control over the world, annihilate the power structure, and engineer a genuinely benevolent species that is somehow persistently immune to the reality of covert evil being the winning strategy in our world.

But it's a little bit like articulating the problem of predators in the wild and asking, "What would need to happen for the Zebras and all the other herbivores to be truly free from the Lions? Well... something... would have to happen, where the irredeemable things at the top of the power structure, the lions, were eradicated, and the Zebras somehow ensured that they themselves did not just turn into the "new Lions" with time, while also not finding themselves the victims of some future "Lions 2.0" that would appear with a matter of time" And it all just becomes a kind of fantasy scenario just like the first one where we're asking a genie for a wish.
