One that always hit the spot of despair and comfort in me is Groundhogs Day

Oh yeah the butterfly effect I can´t believe I forgot to mention that, I saw scrolled passed Groundhogs Day on a streaming site which made me think of making this thread. But The Butterfly Effect is such a better example it´s such an amazing movie and fills me with a feeling of existential nihilism and suicidal thoughts during and after watching it, also I gotta check the other movies out you mentioned if they are similar in any way.The butterfly effect
dancer in the dark, requiem for a dream etc
Again how could I also forget these movies, I recently watched a lot of coming of age movies one each night movies like Stand by me, Gone Girl, The Sandlot, bridge to terabithia, Boyhood etc. and it made me so sad and suicidal because it made me miss the camaraderie I had with all my friends, all the adventures we were on and all the hopes and dreams I had for the future.and growing up (especially television shows)
These movies are definitely on my list too I would´ve loved to have experienced stuff like that.Any movie about the typical high school or college experience.
Requiem for a dream made me cry, that older lady just wanted to be on t.v.dancer in the dark, requiem for a dream etc
for me they make me sad and suicidal because I never got to go out during those years which hindered my friendships besides not being able to identify friendship (only got to go out once in all of my years in school)Again how could I also forget these movies, I recently watched a lot of coming of age movies one each night movies like Stand by me, Gone Girl, The Sandlot, bridge to terabithia, Boyhood etc. and it made me so sad and suicidal because it made me miss the camaraderie I had with all my friends, all the adventures we were on and all the hopes and dreams I had for the future.
That is well said I do the same I watch the movies and kinda live the experiences through them but it makes me so sad and suicidal inside because of course I know I never experienced.for me they make me sad and suicidal because I never got to go out during those years which hindered my friendships besides not being able to identify friendship (only got to go out once in all of my years in school)
so I guess I try to live through the characters on the screen through bad events and good events shown while watching those pieces of media
I remember some of the films you mentioned but haven't watched them yet
I will add them to my list, thank you for sharing those
