I will start, I like eating my own skin.
I regularly eat skin from my feet, I really enjoy doing that and do it whenever it healed back enough for me to eat it again haha, it sounds really weird but I have been doing this for such an eternity now, I started back when I was in school, I was 12 when I started eating skin on my fingers and then it just developed into this and stayed for years, now years later I'm still doing that

I always like people's idiosyncrasies. Best I can come up with that I will not eat a bistro. Like we are starving and the only place open in London is a bistro, and I make everyone walk for another hour looking for somewhere to eat.

i wear toe shoes (i dont have a foot fetish, i just like it)

i dont ever dry my hands with towels or air dryers i only ever shake them dry

i purposefully try to get acne so i can pop the pimples

i squat on the toilet instead of sitting down to poo and pee (afab, she her, btw)

i kiss my knees and elbows every night cause i feel like they are under appreciated by society

Whenever I find a piece of my own hair, or I run my hands through and pieces fall out, I like to pull the pieces straight and then snap them, or I'll keep stretching them out until they snap.

When I'm alone (almost all the time, I have no friends lol) sometimes I will say "hm?" very quietly to myself, often repeatedly, like every 30 seconds or so. I do it without even thinking and it's embarrassing. I'm glad it's quiet and barely audible, at least. I believe it's a vocal stim I have.

Vibram Five Finger bby! I switched to barefoot shoes a few years ago and have never looked back.

I open jars with my non-dominant hand. Sometimes I hold the lid and spin the jar to remove the lid. Did not do it purposefully, just subconsciously started the habit.

I have a weird fascination with western women that join ISIS and read a lot of articles about it/watch videos about it. Idk I just like learning about people with very fringe beliefs to try and understand why they are the way they are.

I compulsively wipe my face. I carry around paper towels with me everywhere I go because I'm constantly convinced I have food on my face.

I also am super heat and cold sensitive. I wear a sweater even in the summer because otherwise I feel cold and exposed.

Me too! I'm always sort of humming and grumbling to myself. I think for me it's when I have a thought I don't like, and when I make a noise it sort of helps to cover it up / redirect my thinking if that makes any sense. How much I do it depends on how nice my thoughts are lol. Usually I only do it when I'm alone but sometimes some weird noises will slip out around other people, oops.

What do you mean by bistro? Maybe it's a US thing but I've never really noticed a difference with restaurants that call themselves bistros, other than that they tend to be a little extra pretentious.

2. I wouldn't say I purposely get acne but I'm definitely a little overzealous in poking and prodding my face

Also re: active noise canceling headphones, which a lot of yall like, for some reason they always make me nauseous :(

To add my own: I'm always biting and chewing my tongue and the inside of my mouth. Whenever I visit a doctor/dentist and they look inside they're horrified lol. I usually just pick off the upper layer so it doesn't bleed or anything but there's a lot of scar tissue. I think it's my 'main tic' since it's kinda subtle, you can do it in public without it being obvious.

Half my food has to be eaten on the left side of my mouth and the other half is eaten on the right side. I've been doing this since childhood and I couldn't tell you how or why it started. I just have to do it. If I don't then things won't feel right. I actually feel so embarrassed sharing this. It's so bizarre

I pull out beard hair compulsively in response to stress. I've had to shave off my facial hair recently to give the bare spots a chance to even out .
I'm also overzealous when it comes to removing in-growns and any extra thick or dark hairs.

I have to sleep with my head vertically sandwiched between two pillows. As in, I sleep on my side with my head on one pillow, then lay the other pillow on top of my head. It helps muffle noise and maintain darkness, but it's hot, occasionally suffocating, and began in response to an irrational fear of something crawling into my ear canal while I sleep. If I don't have two pillows, I don't sleep. The "experts" have been unable to assure me that earwigs, in fact, do not burrow into ears. I know they are simply waiting for me to drop my guard before proceeding with their colonization schemes.

I thoroughly inspect straws before using them, I'll tilt them up twards the ceiling light so i can see through the hole. Apparently people think thats very weird for some reason, i guess I'm just very particular about my straws.
I will also aggressively meow at my cats because i know they won't react and i think it's very funny. Ones deaf and the other just couldn't care less.
