Discussion what is your ideal suicide method and why?

My research lately has focused on fatal hypothermia, essentially on land (but perhaps partly also in shallow water where drowning is not possible), at an air temperature ranging between +2 and +6 degrees Celsius (to prevent frostbite), and heavily under the influence of sedatives combined with 1 litre of premium vodka.

Jumping.

I wish we had tall enough buildings here to jump from. The tallest is a 78 meter student accomodation which I have had the pleasure to go to the top of. Unfortunately it's built very stragely and in a way where there is actually no rooftop access on the top floor and to jump you'd need to smash a window as there are bars on every single window that can open.
Our tallest bridge is 36 meters from the road and I understand it has to be over 50 for a virtually guaranteed fatality, not to mention that it is a suicide hotspot and is patrolled often. I'd also have to scale a 2 meter barrier, which isn't crazy but I don't think I could move fast enough to make it without intervention.

I'm not sure why tthis is the ideal method for me, it just feels kind of right. When I think of suicide, I think of jumping.

Fentanyl overdose. Very euphoric and painless as I have learnt about it. But I don't have the access to it, sigh. But that's my desired way to go.

Other is hanging or jump.

I have one particular post in my mind… someone attempted with carbon monoxide a few months ago & stopped because it was far from painless and they couldn't stand another second of it. Being high might help, but I'm not sure where you got the idea that CO was painless.

That's not how it's done FOR A REASON. You need to be awake so you're breathing it in deeply.

It's still hanging either full or partial. I've tested partial and I can knock myself out I know it would be fatal if I did t have the safe guards

I like I know I can do it. And that is why I prefer this approach

I want to head up to the woods, take SN, hold my shark plush for comfort as I look into the stars under my blanket at night. Probably listen to some pretty music..
It sounds beautiful and I hope to get it done by the end of the year, but currently I don't have any of the resources to do it properly...

I have a lot of access to this "Fentanyl Actyc", which are essentially subdermal lolipops of fentanyl. But I dont know how much resistant will my body be, because I have very high tolerance to benzos.

I would love to suicide with a gun(painless, success rate of almost 100%), but the method isnt available in my country. inert gas or partial hanging would be the method for me.

This one is alluring to me still, too. Clear night, looking at the stars in a peaceful part of nature. Hopefully the sedatives + vodka will make it painless. Not sure what would happen if your SI wakes you up, though. Let me know if you ever try and find out. If not; good journeys!

Honestly, it would be something that would look more like an accident. Like a drug overdose or me getting hit by a speeding vehicle. I don't want my family or my in laws to carry the shame knowing that I killed myself so I think it would be easier for them to handle.

My ideal way to die would be to die in my sleep, which would be probably by N, but considering how it is unrealistic to obtain it, I guess SN does the job if I nake no mistakes in the process

I have had recurring dreams about dying by walking into an ocean and drowning so I feel called to that method. but I think it's a bit tricky to enact.

Pentobarbital of course, but since thats outta the question ill have to go with partial hanging since it's simple enough and basically one of the least gruesome/shocking methods, could also be not so painful. It basically hits enough points for me both in execution and aftermath.

I'm thinking about this too. That sounds like an approach I might go for. I've thought about taking my clothes off and chaining myself—say, by the foot—to a tree, just in case I want to escape.

Assisted suicide, that way I don't have to worry about preparations and don't have to get police involved and shit - I've got bonus points for BPD. Even with that, it's still impossible for me to achieve, specially considering how things are going in my country lol

For me it would be either carbon monoxide poisoning or being hit by a train. While the first one is more logical, what I want in terms of it being peaceful, a part of me would also want to make it drastic. It's a bit hypocritic of me I guess. But being hit by train would be a very loud scream that "I was unwell and none of you cared, I was never joking". But that's the more unrealistic one. I'm not sure if I am cruel enough to put people for seeing me like this. So it would be rather carbon monoxide poisoning, or any method that would make me peacefully go to sleep and never wake up.

If I could choose anything then it would be assisted suicide don't know if there's anything better , medical professionals making sure that you don't suffer and no chance of failure , sign me uo !

The most realistic one for me is hanging , I was testing yesterday I lost consciousness really quickly and it was fairly painless , everything else requires a lot of planning or leaves a bloody mess .
