• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Like if you are breathing in mostly nitrogen but somehow something goes wrong and you survive, like the bag somehow comes off before you are dead, what can happen? Coma? Brain damage?

Thanks for posing the question. I am currently debating between Nitrogen or SN as my method.

The fear of failure is so much more overwhelming for me…

While I plan to over-research the shit out of both, I am glad you're asking the *knocks on wood* hopefully plan Z outcome that won't happen!

Brain damage afaik, if it works like helium possibly some barotrauma. I'm not a medical doctor however, hopefully someone more knowledgeable can clear that up

You have to remember that suicide is damaging your brain to the point where it can no longer function. Every single method is going to carry with it some risk of adverse effects if you survive, including brain damage.

If you deprive your brain of oxygen long enough, it will start dying. If you are then resuscitated after that, you will have to deal with parts of your brain being dead. The extent of the damage just depends on how long you were oxygen deprived and how well your brain can recover from the damage it has received.
