I've been struggling with this thought: Why should I go to a job I don't like? I have enough money to last me longer than I expect myself to last anyway, so maybe I should quit my job, but then I always come up with reasons that might not be a good idea yet, either. What do y'all think about this? Do you work? Or if you don't have a job, would you work, or quit?

Most of my friends are also my coworkers so if I quit it would cause immediate suspicion because they know my mental health is bad, that being said it's so agonizingly hard to work through the apathy. If you're still capable of working it might be good to continue as you never fully know what the future holds if a plan fails or similar it would be good to have as much savings as possible. If you aren't capable of working but aren't sure about wanting to quit I recommend looking into FMLA if you are in the US (I'm guessing there are equivalents in other countries but don't know what they would be called). That is what I am looking into right now for myself and you can stop working for up to 12 weeks but it would be illegal to be fired, that way if you end up deciding not to ctb or end up with a failed attempt you're not completely f*cked over.

For me it's to mask feelings. If I stop working, they might get suspicious
