Gen Alpha aren't adults yet and I'm assuming the Silent Generation wouldn't know about this site.
Same. Born in 72. I feel like we're the forgotten generation sandwiched between the boomers and millennials. I feel like the torch is going to pass right over us. The latch key generation. I think we were the last to have actual freedom as kids, maybe a little too much.Generation X here.

Interesting, what year?Something inbetween a Gen z and Millennial. I don't relate to a lot of the Gen z issues yet my birth date corresponds to gen z.
I just want to compare the suicidal rates between generations on this site.I'm a bit confused as to why this thread is in the suicide section of the site though.
77 here. Was a good time to be alive, especially as a kid. My nephew is 7, and I don't envy him in the least. The world is such a hypocritical and corrupt mess, and just getting worse. I know it's a cliché that "older" people say this, but I really do believe that to be the case. And despite loving computers all my life, in the wrong hands (as it is) this technology will lead to a cyberpunk dystopia with complete observation and suppression. A cashless society also fits the bill. Basically, one's entire life destroyed for misbehaviour with the push of a button, maybe AI automated.Same. Born in 72.
