Pretty much as the title says.

Have any of you thought about this? And if so do you have any preferences or opinions on how you would or wouldn't want your funeral to be held?

i personally don't care but i do want my body to be cremated as my last will, preferably so my urn can be near my boyfriend's but i don't think his or my family will be comfortable with that, which is why i don't have much expectations.

i do feel if there were to be a vigil my house will be crowded as hell because i know i am very much loved by many and that feels kinda eh lol

The most unshowy, mundane thing possible. A short funeral with few people, buried quickly in the local graveyard and then everyone straight home. I'm agnostic, but I don't know if anyone would care, and the simplest thing would maybe be a Catholic funeral anyway, so I'm fine with that as well.

Jokes aside, I would want to be cremated. I don't think I'll be able to avoid them gathering, so just make it quick. I wouldn't mind having my ashes spread though (so that I'm not stuck in my house anymore). Purple is my favorite color, so maybe a purple urn or a few purple flowers throughout the reception.

In all seriousness— I really want them to cremate me. Preferably, maybe in an urn to have me around the house, next to my dead brother. I'll still miss my family, especially my sweet older sister. Burial shroud, in a grave with a headstone, and for there to be sunflowers left. Though I have a strong feeling that for financial reasons my family will ignore my request, not have a funeral, and cremate me. I also included this in my note and said if they don't listen to my request and do cremate me, nobody is allowed to have my ashes and I want them dumped into the ocean by the lighthouse like.

Thinking of doing the same and writing as such in my final note. I don't deserve to be celebrated. I just want to be out into the earth and give back for once. I'm tired. My time is coming.

First. I love your Charlie pfp. Secondly. This is. Y first method. Like a natural decomposition hanging in a secluded forest. If I where to be found, I would not want a funeral and a bare bones burial, with no grave stone.

A while ago, I looked into having my body be stuffed in a tree-pod. I'd also preferred to be unmarked and have it all handled by a power of attorney, no one in family should know.

I also don't want to have a funeral. I know my parents would want that, but no. Just bury me and move on with your lives.

i would prefer a closed casket and not having a wake. i don't care what anyone does beyond that but i especially don't want to be cremated.
