IMO Me achieving my Death is the best thing that could happen to me ,.

Death means never existing. So that means never suffering ,zero pain ,zero problems ,no bad memories : what could be better

Non-existence forever is the only guarantee of never suffering extremely

this depends on the living environment of each person, different lives are different realities and there can be all kinds of luxuries and all kinds of misfortune but from my perspective I can give you an answer that perhaps relates to many here:

we are already in it, too many things happen here, each one of us here has had different events that led us to join this forum is just a tiny representation of this, too many but too many things you can lose years in making a list and in turn it is so complicated that it becomes almost impossible to try to explain it in words, but all this can be summed up in a simple way: this world

I've always considered being raped and/or tortured to be fates worse than death. That is, if I was faced with such a scenario and I had a reasonable chance to get myself killed instead (like, say I was being held captive at gunpoint and they made it clear what was going to happen) I would try to get myself killed rather than go through those, even if I knew for sure that, having went through them, I would immediately be free from the perpetrator's clutches and wouldn't be harmed further. I have always considered those two acts, unlike murder which can sometimes be justified in cases such as self-defense, to be completely and utterly unjustifiable in any context no matter what, no matter who it is done to.

I think it's a slightly misleading way of framing the question. As far as we know there is no fate that's alternative to death, the final destination is always the same no matter what happens in the meantime. If that fact were more easily digestible to general populations, I think some of the taboo around expediting death would be reduced.

For me non-existence is the only desirable and positive outcome but of course I only see never suffering at all as true perfection, I'd always prefer to not exist no matter what but more than anything I wish I never suffered, I wish I was never forced to suffer in this torturous, futile existence that to me is an abomination, non-existence is all I see as desirable and is all that can bring me any peace.

I'd just never wish for the burden of existing as a human and I find it so tragic how this unnecessary existence was even imposed that just causes suffering all for the sake of it and problems there were never a need for, for me non-existence could only ever be positive as after all there are no disadvantages to being permanently unable to suffer, I cannot suffer from the peace of an eternal dreamless sleep. Non-existence is all that's ideal for me, I see existence as a mistake and I'd always prefer to be permanently unconscious than suffer all for the sake of it in this reality where there is no limit as to how much agony one can feel just to be tortured by old age and die anyway, I find it horrific how a human can exist for so long.

I know it's a hypothetical, but that doesn't sound possible from a biological standpoint. Aging is the result of the body breaking down due to factors that eventually cause death. If you could live forever, it would suggest that the factors that cause aging are not present. If you lived an 'eternal life' but still aged, there would be a point where the body shouldn't be able to physically function, because it's too broken down to support itself.

Or in your scenario, are you imagining this?
