What are the things you wish people wouldn't say to you when they find out? What makes you feel worse about it? I have wanted to CTB myself for many years but I also want to know how to better support a friend right now.
Show genuine interest in helping him, don't just tell him to go to therapy or say a few words and leave it at that. Have a real conversation with him, ask him questions, say positive things to him. Express love, try to help.

Talking. Saying generic stuff such as « but why? You're so pretty, you're so kind, you're so blabla.. it will pass » just make me feel worst personally. I think the best u can do is talk about those subjects without any taboo. Spend quality times with your friend, be genuinely interested. But it depends your friend personality too
