Not worried about it. I'll be dead so I won't care. Selfish, I know!

It would be cool if my organs were donated and would be the most I ever contributed to anything/anyone in my life. Too bad euthanasia isn't readily available wherein organ donation could promptly take place. It seems like such a waste...

But anyway, I'm planning on dying in the middle of nowhere somewhere up north and hope my body isn't found. Don't really want a funeral, but whatevs

Like, I would love to have a viking funeral... you know, tha raft, fire and arrows, go big time lol, but I know that's not going to happen so I'll probably put in my letter about not wanting a funeral and just be cremated, maybe a family reunion and that's about it. I don't want anyone spending money we don't have on me.

So I'm curious about what you think

What do you guys want done with your corpses?
Do you have funeral plans? or do you want a funeral at all?
What do you think about other methods?
Is there a cultural or religious aspect to what you want?
Do you not know what you want yet?

Let's hear it!
A viking funeral would have been my choice too! I'm not worthy of it though.

Cremation for sure, but I have no idea what I would like to happen with my ashes. I suppose it's ultimately not really in my hands either way though. I think preferably I would like for them to be spread somewhere beautiful.
I wonder if my family would like to keep them though... Would that be comfort or a painful reminder?

Honestly I'm troubled by the fact that my body will remain after "I" leave. The existence of a cadaver creates the impression that I'm "there", when I'm not really "there". It would make things so much easier if I somehow disintegrate and vanish into thin within two hours after I die without having to plan a cremation in advance.

If I somehow don't CTB I want to go my grandmother's route and have my body donated to science...

If I do, which is far more likely, than I want to be cremated and my ashes be spread in the ocean near where I live.

I would want my body to be donated and used for organ transplantation. Other than that, I'd love to just be forgotten and disappear from the minds of everybody I've ever know. No memory, no pain, no tears.

I want to be cremated and have my ashes tossed in Japan at Mt. Fuji, unfortunately I have no one willing to go the far to dump my ashes, so I guess I'm stuck having my ashes dumped in the US, as long it's not in my hometown and state, I guess I'm good. I do not want a funeral, do not give a dam of I'm remembered or not, besides, I cut everybody out of my life other than my mom, so there wouldn't be any point in having a funeral anyway. That's basically it.

My dad wanted a Viking funeral on our local lake and he wanted me to put his cats on the raft with him ha ha ha! I'll just be buried in the old fashioned way haha. Already paid for my funeral so I know it will be done haha

I will have an email sent to a friend 12 hrs after I'm gone. My organs and money will be donated. My friend will receive money to bury me and donate half of the rest of the money.

I'm torn between cremation and the ability to be planted to create new life.

My family absolutely hates the whole wake/open casket stuff so I'm assuming cremation (Cuz I'm also assuming I won't be much to look at once it happens!) & the usual potluck with good music & drinks in place of a funeral. Parents can have some of my ashes for that glass jewelry stuff, and spread some at the Russian cemetery.

Even though it doesn't work this way, I would want my organs to be given to more deserving people. In an ideal world, people like me could just go down to the hospital, be euthanized, and have our salvageable organs donated. The whole 'growing organs in a lab' idea is going to be perpetually 'just 20 years away!' so it would be far more humanitarian to just let people who don't want to live go this way.

That said, legally hospitals are banned from using the organs of someone who committed suicide, because 'it creates an incentive for people to commit suicide' which is the most bullshit justification I've ever heard. Society creates the incentive to die, at least this way someone who deserved a second chance at life would have it.

At the risk of double posting, it does occur to me that there's a program out there in which a person can be buried by a biodegradable means, with some plant/tree seeds, to act as 'human compost' for said trees. Since I care about the environment, I suppose I would want my remains to be put to a good use by feeding a tree. On the other hand, I also somewhat like this idea, since I feel like it would be a way to offset my carbon footprint that I made in life.

Wanna be cremated and have my ashes flushed to the toilet. Perfect. Such a wonderful mock for the society talking bullshit about respect to the dead people.

Any good organs to be donated - do you need to have an offial doner card or is an extra signed and dated note with yr suicide note enough?

Then cremated - ashes in sea or wilderness.

No funeral, Just a Wake - a big party for all my friends-i want me saving to go towards it. I want them to play all me records and dance all night long ive made a huge playlist already for it.

Definitely want cremation with ashes spread on the bank of a lake or large pond. Western bank so I can view the rising sun and changing phases of sister moon.
