Like, I would love to have a viking funeral... you know, tha raft, fire and arrows, go big time lol, but I know that's not going to happen so I'll probably put in my letter about not wanting a funeral and just be cremated, maybe a family reunion and that's about it. I don't want anyone spending money we don't have on me.

So I'm curious about what you think

What do you guys want done with your corpses?
Do you have funeral plans? or do you want a funeral at all?
What do you think about other methods?
Is there a cultural or religious aspect to what you want?
Do you not know what you want yet?

Yes, I have written down my wishes about what should happen to my corpse. And some money to cover the costs for my surviving dependants.

I would like a cremation and then my ashes are scattered in a place in nature. I definitely don't want a funeral ceremony. Quite simply, back to the nature I came from. With as little influence as possible from today's society and norms, which I hate so much.

I also have this fear of waking up in the grave so cremation can prevent this, can only wake up when burned...that will lasts seconds...

I'd love to donate my organs, but I don't think much of of me is salvageable. I guess bone marrow and my skin are still alright.
I really want to pass deep in a forest. Part of me just wants to never be found. Become one with nature. Circle of life. All that Jazz.
Then a part of me wants to be buried next to my husband, even though I know it's just a romantic thought to comfort me in life, and means nothing after death.
I don't know..a miracle can happen and all this thinking, ideation, and planning may not ever be needed and I can die a nice peaceful death due to old age.

Cremate. No remembrance bullshit. Put the ashes in one of the National Cemeteries. I served honorably with the USN. Figure I've earned that much. No bullshit memorial services. Let me rest in whatever peace there may be on the other side of the veil.

No ceremonies, in fact I'd like someone that I had no connection to at all to handle (spread, bury, etc.) my remains. Nothing religious or cultural involved, ideally.

Either cremated & have my ashes spread in some wilderness I've never been, or buried somewhere in said wilderness.
I wouldn't want anyone I ever knew to be informed of where this was or who handled the remains.

It very likely won't happen, but luckily I won't be around to be disappointed while something else does.

At the beginnings evaluate a donation, but it will be not possible.

The executor of my will knows that I want cremation. That will cost around $1,500 and she can easily afford it with all the cash & prizes that I'm leaving to her. It's not as if I have anybody that would come to a funeral anyhow.

I like the viking idea, so maybe I'll just do the next best thing and have Amon Amarth played in my memory. I'd like my body to be harvested for tissue and/or used as a cadaver. I've heard that you can still be cremated after they're done with you, so I'd probably just have that done.

You can always donate it to a body farm for forensics study. (If you're in the US) This is the one I'm most familiar with.

If I were to CTB my body would most likely never be found considering I would do it in a forest or somewhere else that's remote from the rest of civilization, whatever happens to my body after that is up to the insects and microorganisms

I would like my long hair to be cut off at the scalp and made into a wig for a child who does not have hair. I'd like my body, cleaned up but not embalmed or made up, to be placed in a cardboard box and cremated. My ashes will be taken to a certain beach on the Gulf of Mexico and scattered by him and perhaps my brothers. They can figure out for themselves if they want to celebrate my life or my death or anything at all.

I want it burnt to ashes. Then the ashes burnt to more ashes, then eaten, and have whatever ate it, its shit burnt to more ashes. I just don't want any part of me to be remembered in any way

Every organ that "survives" removed to be donated.There are lots of people almost dying who want to live and really have reasons to do it, so save them with my "pieces". Then, burning the rest and throw the ashes in a place I was happy almost for the last time.
