Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'm just trying to understand this. What do you get out of suicide? A permanent problem to a temporary issue. Life is temporary. Why not try harder? No hate, just trying to understand. I'm also struggling with thoughts occasionally but I'm just not sure

Some suffering is not worth the climb.

Why climb?

Some of us do not want to play the game anymore... its pointless anyway,

Wage slavery is one of my biggest reason + having bipolar disorder.

You just threw a bunch of truisms. Often on these forums people mention them and why they don't work for them.

Unless you're trolling of course.

My theory is that human brain still operates on emotions wrapped in thoughts, not logic (also there's no inherent logic to life, but that's another topic). If you experience negative emotions, your life can become not worth living. People who have different experiences cannot communicate effectively.

Death, hopefully. :P

But seriously. Life is a temporary problem that is resolved by dying. Why force yourself to suffer when you can just… not? You could touch a hot stove and keep your hand there, but you can also take it off and walk away.

The answer will be different for everyone.
If I have to give one generic answer, it gives relief, peace from the chaos of struggles of life that humans have created for themselves.

As for trying harder is concerned, I'm someone who knows how to bend reality, but...
How will a victim of domestic abuse or sexual abuse deal with it when their surroundings are hostile.
How will a person with terminal illness or chronic pain find relief even if they tried harder.
All they can do is make efforts to do something in their life that they can enjoy, but that's also, not an absolute guarantee. Trauma of some people can be beyond repair. Everyone has got thresholds. Though, brain is elastic in nature. So, these thresholds can be stretched with proper training if given in the childhood.
Death, hopefully. :P

Great analogy

It's the permanent solution to permanent problems. It's self-care.

Problems can be temporary, some can become permanent, and for some problems, there might be solutions, but if these solutions are unattainable, then what is the solution? Some problems simply can't be fixed at all.

There's never a guarantee that it will get better in the future. It can get better, but it also can get worse.

Just wanting some peace

For me ceasing to exist will always be the positive solution to find peace from all future suffering in this existence that is just waiting to die anyway and no matter what I'll just always see existence as a mistake, it's just so terrible how this existence was imposed causing all this pain and suffering there was never a need for with no limit as to how much one can be tortured, this existence will always be an abomination that just tortures existing beings all for the sake of it and for me it'll always feel like the most terrible, undeserved punishment to suffer in this existence.

No matter what I'd just never wish to be conscious of anything at all, to me existence itself will always be the true problem and for me non-existence is just all that's desirable, ceasing to exist solves everything for me as if I don't exist I cannot suffer, it's so horrible how a human can be burdened with this torturous, futile existence for decades longer just to face the agony of old age.

nothing really, because there is no longer a conscious being to gain or lose anything from it, but that nothingness means the cessation of suffering

It really is an act of one being proactive with their mental and physical health. You really do not want to be dependant on anybody; be it family, friends or the medical profession. So you get your complete own independence once and for all.

And peace.
