In my brain women immediately lose interest in you the moment you mention you once had a psychosis.
I heard many men with psychosis end up very lonely and desperate which could be true (also in my case). However, I might overestimate this effect.
I met women who lost interest in me because of my past psychosis. But there were many other contextual variables. And honestly I could also imagine actually my asperger was the thing that bugged them. Or the combination.
Women were interested in me in the past. I was in one short (sort of) relationship. There were women that I dated that had no problem with this condition. I have the feeling I only match with a very low amount of women. And I think I realized that women who are neurodiverse or who know mental illnesses can fit to me the most.
I had the best matches thus far with an autistic/ADHD single mom and a borderline woman. Tbh I think some borderline women even considered me fascinating due to my conditions. I am emotionally very available, the contact with me is very intense and I am emotionally open. And I think I am quite naive when it comes to women.
My conclusion is: many women will run away. But they are probably pretty similar to the group that would run away because of bipolar and autism.
In the past I had the issue to become psychotic when I meet women. Very early. I considered that the reason why I will stay lonely forever. I also had to adjust this assumption. After I quit college I was able to date women without becoming psychotic so easily. And actually the feedback of chatGPT helps me a lot to stay sane when texting with women. I overthink way too much otherwise.
