OCD, people tend to dismiss it as a "cleanliness disorder" when it's actually a debilitating anxiety disorder caused by misfirings in the brain

Misophonia and the rage that comes with it. I've wished all kinds of horrible fates on my coworkers and neighbors when they've triggered me.

As a result, I try my damndest not to be a trigger for anyone else who might be suffering from it.

Body dysmorphia is such a common thing, but since it's one of the biggest moneymakers in this shitty capitalistic world, they won't ever talk about it openly or try to find long term solutions for it.

Muscular dystrophy. Most people don't know how to react to someone who doesn't walk and move like them, so they default either to pity or another form of rudeness. I'm just like you in every way except for my muscle structure, and that has no effect on my humanity. I deserve the same basic respect and normal social treatment you give to everyone else you interact with.

Scheuermann's disease of the spine. No one knows, not even doctors, even though 2-3 % people have it. It can be cured in case of an early diagnosis, but no one cares.

Autism and Asperger's Syndrome. Unfortunately both in recent years have become a common insult and the butt of jokes. But with previous disorders/disabilities/terms like retardation and spaz now becoming taboo if used as an insult, I guess something needs to fill the hole.

I wish people knew the profound effect autism has on social connection. Most people know we're awkward and have narrow interests, but they don't understand how hard it can be to be on the spectrum while entirely self aware. I've felt like an alien in every social situation since I was a child, and I constantly ruminate over every social interaction--picking apart every single thing I did wrong. It's exhausting.

I'd definitely say autism. It genuinely disgusts me how even till this day, autism people are still sometimes seen as a joke that is found "funny". none of us asked to be born with such different functioning from others. its genuinely exhausting and can cause you a great deal of anxiety, especially to those who are prone to masking. honorable mentions would go to schizophrenia, psychosis and BPD (I'd say DID too but it's pretty uncommon so I'll go with these for now)

NPD, it has so much stigma and stereotypes that people immediately believe all who have NPD are cruel and abusive. Which yes, some of them do, but not everyone.

Honestly any. Nowadays even the most well known disorders are totally misrepresented. e.g. I hear depression being used as an alternative to being sad literally all the time like "I was so depressed yesterday". Theres also autistic used as an insult or schizophrenic as an alternative to crazy, etc.
These piss me off so much!!

OCD, especially OCD with themes/intrusive thoughts of harm, abuse, etc. I struggle with P*dophilia themed OCD, and what that means is that I am afraid of becoming a p*do. it does not make me a p*do for having this kind of OCD, in fact the fear came around when I started recovering from childhood online grooming and online sexual assault. I am afraid of becoming the people who had hurt me as a child and I would never EVER wish for a child to be hurt like that, or ever want to hurt a child like that. I wish people understood that OCD is capable of coming with violent sexual and abusive intrusive thoughts, and it's actually so fucking common for OCD and jntrusive thought havers to atleast have a few bad ones. An intrusive thought is just a misfiring of the brain, and do not actually reflect on one's character as a person. and I wish people understood that and I wish people would stop jumping to conclusions when I talk about having POCD in "safe spaces" for OCD havers. (safe spaces in quotes because they dont feel safe to me. I feel disgusting and invalid and I feel like I shoukd die for having POCD)
