Really? Thank you so much! I love French so much. It just flows and it has the least hard-sounding letters, if that makes sense. It's so beautiful. OH my god, I would LOVE to die in France. Sorry, got lost there for a minute. Anyway, yeah, I'll go with English for this next part. As for SI, if you decide to try to get something from a doctor, benzodiazepenes are usually the best because they are used for anxiety. Here that is stuff like Valium/diazepam, Xanax/alprazolam, Ativan/lorazepam, etc. Though I am going on knowledge from doctors in the US, maybe they do more in France. Painkillers-like opiate-based, (Oxycodone, Lortab, Morphine, Fentanyl) not ibuprofen or whatever would be good too. OF course, there are always illegal drug options too, but I have no idea what you guys have in France or how easy they are to get.

I don't know what the brand names are there, but the only other thing I can think of over the counter would be like anti-histamines for allergies- like Benadryl here or like nighttime flu medicine that has another kind of antihistamine that makes you sleepy. But ofc, if you take these things, make sure you know how they interact and stuff. If you take too much diphenhydramine (Benadryl here) it can actually have the opposite effect and make you agitated and have these scary hallucinations. I have done it on purpose a few times, just for the hallucinations and it was not a fun.

Thank you so much for your detailed answers and the effort you put in — it's really kind and appreciated. As for the syrups, maybe I'll try to get Benadryl with codeine if possible? Without medication, I wouldn't be able to overcome SI 100%. This survival instinct is horrible.

Once again, thank you for answering me so well!

And by the way, I'm not from France but from Quebec 😀 though I'd really love to live in France someday haha!

Sorry this took so long to answer, I slept pretty much all day yesterday. Took a bunch of Benadryl and some other things actually. And, of course, no problem!! Oh I'm sorry, I shouldn't have assumed. Hell, I'd love to die in Quebec too!! Get me out of the US!

I know!! Survival instinct is THE WORST!!! Like, I would get it more if there's wasn't already 8-9 billion people on the planet (or whatever it is now) and there was a need for more humans to reproduce for the survival of the species. But FFS, we don't need anymore. In fact, we can afford to lose some, so instead of people dying who actually WANT to live, why not let us that want to die take their place??? And my brain knows this! SO why is it so hard?? I mean I know it's an unconscious biological insinct thing but ugh. So yeah. Haha sorry, got a bit off track there.

Anyway, I'm not sure if they have Benadryl with codiene. The only thing I've seen is cough medicine with codeine, which is Guaifenesin. OTC the brand name is Robitussin or there is Mucinex too. But those don't have codeine. At least in the US, you have to go to a doctor to get the kind of cough medicine with Codeine. And Codeine is such a weak opiate, it would take SO much to OD on.

OH yeah, sometimes OTC cough medicines have something called Dextromethorphan, which if you take a lot causes hallucinations. They are not like Benadryl hallucinations. Back when I was using a lot of drugs, I used to take too much on purpose. Technically it is considered an OD, because hallucinations are the side effects of a Dextro OD. I don't recommend it. Also, sometimes cough and flu medicines have something called Pseudoephedrine, which is used when like your sinuses are blocked up and you can't breathe. In the US, you can still buy it OTC, but you have to show your ID and can only buy 1 or 2 boxes at a time because people use it to make Methamphetamine. Pseudoephedrine, I imagine would be awful to OD on, because it is like a stimulant.

Of course, you can do whatever you please, I just wanted to make sure I give you all of the information that I know. But definitely check to see what is different since you are in Canada and not the US like me. I just know that the cough, cold, and flu medicines here all include one or a variation of Guaifenesin, Dextromethorphan, Pseuoephedrine, some kind of antihistamine, and usually something for pain that would be in an OTC painkiller, like Tylenol or Ibuprofen, etc. For Codeine, we have to get it prescribed by a doctor.

Do you see a psychiatrist, where you could tell them you are having panic attacks and possibly they could prescribe benzodiazepenes? Like Xanax or Ativan or Valium or something like that? Not sure how your healthcare is about prescriptions for stuff like that, or how schedulin to see someone works. Or maybe you could go to the Emergency department having a panic attack and tell them you think you're having a heart attack, then they'll see you're having a panic attack and maybe give you a temporary prescription? Even if it's only for like a week or two at the least, it's better than nothing? I don' know, that's probably a terrible idea, but I'm just thinking out loud lol.

I'm sorry it took so long to respond!!!! I'm so used to my phone being right by and sending me notifications for everything LOL I have to keep remembering I need to check my computer more.
