I scrolled through X recently. And the whole platform us full of @grok do this @grok do that. Recently, it could be used to strip people from clothes. I think only underwear was possible I think. But it was also used on minors.

I wish the EU would crackdown on X even more. But they are cowards because of Trump. We should have fined and regulated big tech when it was still effectively possible.

It was obvious mostly men would abuse this technology. And Musk knew that. Now, they act surprised.

As long as there are photos from you one the internet, you must fear people will create nudes with it. And X helped to bring this trend into the mainstream. Now more people are aware of this technology and will go down this rabbithole.

I am not sure what I should think about it. I think this trend is pretty pretty bad. I am not sure how strong the impact on the society will be. People who know there are nudes from them on the internet, might can calm themselves down by saying everyone will think it might be AI. Moreover, I am a man. It is less likely that I will become a victim of it. But you cannot rule it out. I still think it is horrible for so many women. It might make some of them paranoid.

This is one of the worst forms of AI usage I witnessed thus far. It combines AI slop, dumb usage of AI chatbots with something extremely harmful like deepfake nudes.

What do you think about it?

I am not sure whether this will change the relationship to nudity in general or whether it will traumatize so many people on this Planet. Or both.

Honestly, AI is more and more becoming a significant reason for me to get out while the getting is good. I don't like what I'm seeing and hearing already and it's only the very early stages.

this is one of the reasons i firstly stopped posting photos of myself online and then finally deleted social media altogether. AI has made everything so unbearable and you can't just ignore it because it's everywhere.

men tell women to cover up so we do. oh but then they turn around and remove their clothing against their will with this technology. so it was never really about "preserving" ourselves and our bodies it was just about controlling what men want when and how they want it. thank u for acknowledging that men will not be the victims of this horror as much as women and children. i hate it so much. they just created something new to torment us with.

I think men could also become victims. Sextortion is a thing that happens to people with any gender. I think though the perpetrators are mostly men/boys.

People are mostly horrible... and almost everything that can be abused will be abused. It was inevitable for AI tools to be used in this way. I have semi mixed feelings.

On the one hand I get feeling abused if you are a victim of fake AI nudity of yourself. On the other hand, it's fake and still very obviously so... and if it happened to me, I could easily say that it wasn't real. But I get how not everyone would be able to compartmentalize it that same way.

It's weird too... because there are plenty of celebrities who have done explicit nudity in movies and people still make AI fake nudes of them. What is that even about? I mean, people who have already shown you their nudes, with full permission to look all you want... and people still want to make fake nudes of them too?

Sometimes I think it is similar to rape in that... the rape isn't about the sex its about power and control... so the AI nudes may not be about a wank fantasy (not that I'm defending that) and may be more about the power of being able to make someone squirm and have to defend themselves. I don't get that power trip, or power trips in general, so I guess that's why the desire to make all the fake nudes is beyond me. Like I have ZERO temptation to go make a fake AI nude of any woman. Do I like nudity, sure! I like it when someone I find attractive is being nude purposefully so I can see... but I never liked the old hidden camera upskirt shit people used to do or those damn bathroom cameras and shit that some pervs pull... and now the AI fake nudes...

There's so much legit nudity that comes with permission in the world, that I don't get the need some have to force nudity on people who don't want to give it to you.

Now more people are aware of this technology [...] everyone will think it might be AI.
The tech has been around for a while, and I think it will be less damaging when normalized.
If someone where to spread a poorly photoshopped image of me with a dick in my mouth, I would simply consider them and people enjoying it idiots. There wouldn't be any deep shame, or anything like that.

I think the reasonable thing would be to react the same for a high quality AI image, or even a real private image.
As of now, I acknowledge that it's not the same as a poorly photoshopped image, but I think it will be, eventually.

Unless we immunize, we'll end up with draconian censorship and still not be adequately protected.
We don't have to give power to pixels on a screen. If we do we will inevitably be hurt by them.

Maybe this is a just a "me thing" but considering the amount of revenge porn that has been used against trans people, I think it's important to use mpre descriptive gender-related language as much as possible when talking about a situation that will make that more accessible to transphobes.

I would argue that trans men are equally likely to be victims of this as everyone else. Cis men, not as much, but still can be victims. Especially those who are gender nonconforming or queer, I'd argue.

I can already imagine someone who is trans having a photo of themselves detransitioned and stripped by grok so that they can then use that to mock them. It's not even far fetched in the society that we live in.

Awful

Transmasculine people regularly post "top surgery reveals" after getting chest masculinization. They're a major part of our culture and community, and I just know people will start using things like that. That's why its so important to include us in thi conversation. Trans people are already being systematically killed under the radar, and this could be used to bully more into suicide.

If anyone thinks this is unlikely, I'm truly glad you've never had to meet the types of people who'd do this. Nearly every openly trans person's comments are full of "[she] still has a penis" and "guys can't have tits 🤣" "nonbinary? What's in your pants then?"

Trans people's bodies are seen as something to be sexualized and/or mocked, and that has been normalized for decades already. I'm so not looking forward to this.

I'm also not looking forward to the liberals who mock Trump and Elon by calling them girls (Elonia is a literal meme in some places) finding out that they can use this to go farther. They've already tried it with other AI 🙄

It's so messed up. I even saw it or something like it being advertised on YouTube. Obviously, it was a young woman with her already skimpy shorts and top being erased away in places. At least it wasn't a minor I suppose. 😬🤮 I thought maybe I was a prude finding that offensive.

There can't be that many pictures of me on the internet and I doubt many would even be tempted to try it on me. What's maybe more depressing is, I doubt AI will get the ugly reality of it right! I'd probably still look more attractive in AI mode. Lol.

Maybe what annoys me even more is that I can picture some guys out there thinking women should be flattered that they want to see them naked. Maybe vice versa too. Worse maybe. I think men are also encouraged to think that a woman taking a more predatory interest in their physical body is something really flattering. Maybe it is to some people but, I can see it being abused enormously.
