Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I don't know if most of you saw or heard about this. Sinead O'Connor made a video in 2017 about living alone in a motel in New Jersey and everything she was going thru. I can certainly identify with her. I am living in an old motel and only interact with the mental health clinic, and this forum.
I get both perspectives... the thought of "my situation isn't unique" comforts some but not others. I can appreciate O'Connor's message but I'm stuck in the latter camp myself.
I'm not going to watch it, she's one of my least favourite people in the world. But, if you are in New Jersey, you need to move before you decide to ctb.
I actually don't know whether or not being in solitude amplifies the issues. I am alone with no contact now, mostly by my own action of ghosting people. This comes in contrast to a few years ago when I was working and socialising most evenings to sitting in an apartment. I use my physical voice one every three days when I go to the store to buy groceries, it surprises me every time I hear myself, its only a handful of words I say, not a conversation. Sinead though had a particular fall from grace though as her meltdown was particularly public. I do have to be a bit wary of her video content as she is still quite active in the music scene going to a lot of festivals and performing. She was on UK TV a few weeks back giving an interview on converting to Islam. So maybe she was a bit isolated then but certainly not now. I also get wary when celebs do certain things as cynical old me says 'self promotion'.
