• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I was more inclined to say leave and go into care, however, depending in which country you live in, this might be difficult. I meant no offence, really. So, yeah, I do understand your situation.
Stop saying you understand my situation when you obviously, by the remarks you're making don't understand one damn thing about it. And it's not offence it's offense. Just for the other people who you plan to offend.
Jim please stop. Just stop.
Yes Jim. Stop. You're very arrogant.
Jim please stop. Just stop.
Thank you.
Apologies I don't understand your pain. Sorry if my comment offended you.
It's ok you didn't offend me.

Well eventually they do die don't they? I'm very sorry what happened to your grandfather and all he had to go through.
Yes, just like eventually you will die too and so will I. How condescending of you. Yes we all know you don't think cancer is painful (or I'm sorry not as painful as what you have to go through) and you either die or get treatment and get better :notsure: JFC
I would suggest you think about others and understand that even though you might be in pain other also can own that also. Others are also in pain and torture for years. We all go through different things and feel different levels of pain no matter what disease or malady you might have.

I just wanted to interject here that I think what Sweet Emotion is trying to say is cancer, while it certainly has its own level of immense suffering, is at least acknowledged by others and perhaps then garners some level of support...as opposed to lesser known or understood illnesses that are more likely under constant scrutiny and questioning rather than support. And she got sick at 20, and it sounds like her condition isn't fatal, so perhaps she could live 60 or 70 years in unmanageable intense pain. That's just what I hear her saying.

Thank you so much! That is exactly what I am saying and the point I'm trying to make. I'm glad someone understood me. That means a lot. I wasn't trying to be malicious in any way. I'm just saying...cancer has an awareness month when it doesn't even need one. Everyone knows that cancer exists and what it is. My condition has a month but it may as well not because no one talks about it and no one knows what it is. There is hope with cancer. There are treatments. People fight to live with cancer. With CRPS, there is no hope, there are no treatments, and people fight to die. Unless it travels into one of your organs and you die from crps related complications, you will live the rest of your natural life in pain that no one can imagine unless they have crps. I'm sorry but it's not like other pain. They don't help you at the hospital for crps like they do for cancer. They don't make dying less painful. I'm so glad you understand what I'm trying to say because never did I say other people don't suffer and that cancer isn't awful. Of course cancer is awful. But I'd rather have that than CRPS.

What makes you think I am arrogant? I am not. I try to understand your situation, sorry, I have not encountered anything like this. I am not trying to offend you, apologies if I make the impression I do. It is not like that at all.

I get what you're saying. I live with severe nerve, muscle and joint pain. The nerve pain doesn't respond to any treatment. There's nothing worse than knowing you will spend the rest of your life in horrible pain with no hope.

I'm very sorry you're suffering as well and thank you for understanding what I meant.
