Been suffering 3 years, things got much worse a year ago. Have tried all sorts of treatments but it's pretty hopeless at this point - can't work, forget relationship. A few days, the odd week of relief then back to suffering. Today has been the worst since I was committted half a year ago. I still want to try hormonal treatments but doing anything happens at a snail's pace right now. Don't have the energy anymore. I've got the goods, just don't want to do it in too much an emotional state. I'm on a fistful of klonopin and phenibut right now, the only reason I even feel social enough to type this.

Did you draw your pfp (avatar)? If so, it is great.

And I'm glad you're posting here to avoid acting impulsively.

Thanks guys, these responses made me burst into tears. That's how pathetic and lonely my life is

I want to try testosterone therapy. I suffer an endocrine disorder, and it could help with some of the symptoms, although not the root cause. But the doctor put me on something else that is making me feel much worse right now

And no, I didn't draw the design, I did get it tattooed on my upper chest though

Any chance it could be changed to something that won't make you feel as bad?

ya, he knows I've attempted suicide already. It's just a matter of when I can get hold of him and whether he'll put me on testosterone now

Can you get a second opinion? Or another doctor?

ya, he tested it. My levels are lowish but in range, which is why he put me on clomid first before TRT. (Clomid increases Test without suppression in men). In theory it's the right idea, but in practice I think some people just cant tolerate clomid. Especially someone who's already fatigued and depressed

exactly the type of bullshit i would expect! the range thing is BS. right can i suggest you try and see an endocrinologist, or someoe who specialises specifically in TRT would be the best. I suffer from low T its is fucking horrid, depression and fatigue are all part of it. i don't know how old you are but when your a certain age, they really dont like to give it out.

i had to tell them i didn't want kids etc. i can tell you that after a year i finally got to see someone who listened (by this time it had already affected me massively, part of the reason i want to ctb). i explained to them how it was affecting me, i know alot about steroids etc and was in the appointment for an hour+ he actually said at the end, if my results came back low.because of how i was feeling he would still put me on TRT. I lied about some stuff(i felt i had too to get anywhere!), but at the end of the day i couldn't blag test results. well you can but i'm not advising and i didn't. I'm also lucky in that my sister is a nurse and got involved

in my case it was too little to late, i'm not interested in taking the stuff anymore( but don't go off me!)

you need to push them on it, it is possible to get someone who will listen in the end.

cani ask what time did they test you at for low T? it should be 9am as that when it peaks

EDIT too much clomid will make you feel really emotional, they always to compare it to being like a women (not meant to offend women,i didn't make up the comparisson!)

So you're not on TRT?

Honestly, the doctor I'm seeing is good. He's a urologist and I understand why he chose to trial clomid first. I think he will probably give me TRT considering my situation. I'm 40 and will not having kids, but wouldn't mind keeping my boys healthy either. Maybe take hcg too
My bloods were taken at like 11 I think

I have been diagnosed with low T. been prescribed testosterone patches (they sometimes start you on them) i wanted injections personally. but i dont take it( my choice)

Its endocrinologist that you want

What does an endocrinologist treat?

The glands in a person's body release hormones. Endocrinologists treat people who suffer from hormonal imbalances, typically from glands in the endocrine system or certain types of cancers. The overall goal of treatment is to restore the normal balance of hormones found in a patient's body.

I'm 40 aswell mate, they expected me to want kids etc(at one point a women just assumed i did!). they don't like giving it to people that are as 'young' as us lol

I went for 1st appointment and the guy said if i did another test he would start me straight away on it, then this women got involved about kids and my age and it dragged on for 12 months and more tests.

i know why they are trying clomid its to try make your testes produce more test probably thinking hypogonadism.

if you used hcg when on test it will work for a while but then it stops.

I'm too clued up on the measurement in units part.i did check for some one the otherday about it,. it was 240-950ng/dl for average person i think 600 is deemed average.

you get conflicting stuff from the docs though. so they didn't want to give it me incase i wanted kids(that says to me if you take it you aren't able to).

then when i told them i had taken steroids for 10yrs+ they were like oh you might recover. absolute BS it was a women doctor that got involved and fuked everything up. i would of been sorted 12months earlier otherwise. alot of shit and symptome from it happened in them 12months and basically fuked my life up!!

I saw an endo, she wouldn't going to give me anything. I found this urologist bc hes familiar with what I'm going through and Willing to give hormones

Medium/high testosterone is supposed to make people less sensitive, more indifferent to emotions,
I hope it works for you, nothing to lose by trying.
