I like valentine's day because is easier to find good chocolate and sweets, for everything else it's just a day like any other. Why? Because everyone is egotistical and I see life as a trade: I give what you gave to me. The concept of "love" that humans have never existed in my eyes, similar festivities looks stupid to me.

I always found this "holiday" strange. Its historical origins are questionable at best, nor does it bring out much good in people. When I was in a relationship we tended to just forget about it. I'm not one for putting pressure on my partner to buy me chocolate and flowers. I've been single for 5 years now. The "holiday" just annoys me.
