Story Universe giving me signs

So I got some bad news that i receive earlier and I was so devastated. My family said that I should take it as a sign that the universe is removing me from toxic people which is fair I guess but it was my last straw.

Now, I opened my bible app to see my verse of the day. (For context: MY FAMILY is not religious but they have faith. Theyre not conservative at all since theyre pretty open about LGBT and etc.) and this was my bible verse of the day:

"Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."

Its kind of a weird coincidence and I just wanna share it. But it also sucks since theres always a bad thing that happened to me once a month and it feels like a butterfly effect.

I'm sorry you're dealing with shitty things. I think it could totally be a sign, and I think being open to a positive sign is a subtle sign of progress too. :-)
