We used to have LAN parties way back where the extended editions were running in background the whole time

Don't think I've ever watched them back to back in a regular session though Sounds exhausting

The memories....

In the early 2000s I had 4 desktop computers in my room and like every day, I had three friends come over to play whatever game we felt like, mulitplayer or just did our individual stuff on the computers.

And then there were the annual gatherings with around 5000 participants in one big hall. Arranged as something like 125 rows of 40 people each.

Times were not that bad...

World of Warcraft were in there for sure Counter strike, Age of Empires 2, Heroes 3 etc. Sometimes people would just play single player games as well

Including a lot of consoles games.
