for the past 20 minutes I've been attempting to CTB by ligature strangulation and i couldn't pass out. I've tried every point in my neck and pulled on the lace until i almost couldn't breathe but i wasn't able to close my cartoids, just felt pressure on my head. what should i do?

Did your lips feel tingly or just pressure in your head?

just pressure. i haven't been close at all to passing out
I was trying this method but I don't know if I'm doing it right either. I get tingly lips then untie it. How long did you have the ligature on?

I wish I had some answers for you. I'm hoping that the bump to this thread gets us some insight from others.
I'm wondering how long it's supposed to take and if it's supposed to be painless.
I just tried it and within seconds felt a lot of pressure in my head. I still feel it. I know people have done it but I wonder if it's a viable method. It seems like it would press the jugular in any position.

if you checked the zip file in the thread it has a bunch of cases of it working, so it's viable, i just dont understand what im doing wrong because I've achieved all of the success factors

Did you find your cartoids with your fingers? Did you tie very tight?

what do you use as a rope?
If you use shoelaces, change them, use a rope and before trying to do the CTB test to see where your carotid arteries are, use your fingers to close them and you will feel that they are locked.
position the rope where the carotid arteries are and start the CTB.
Sometimes the rope you are using is not suitable, buy a thicker one, in case this one is too thin

good luck and I hope I helped
