It's probably better for them. I'd even question that she was even 18 at this point.
Maybe I'm being out of line here but I don't think posting pictures of self harm should be allowed on here, I really don't want a self-harm "community" to develop on this forum
Judging from the looks of it, It doesn't seem fatal. There are three main layers of the skin, which i'm sure you already know of. These look like Dermis cuts, that haven't quite reached the fat later underneath. They sure are wide though….I can never get such wide cuts
Too late for that, bud. There is already a big overlap between those who SH and those who are suicidal and we already have a lot of threads talking about SH (some of which includes pictures). Hell, the Self-harm thread has been around for years.
No, I think they some of them are hypodermis cuts. You can see the fat in some of them. @Jon Arbuckle Why do the moderators allow people to post pictures of themselves? I just feel like it's an enormous health and safety risk especially in this age of doxxing and cyberstalking.

Wait, was the picture of their ex the one post that was like "Last picture I have of my ex and it doesn't fit in my locket" or something along those lines? I recall reading something similar to that but can't recall who posted it and if it was OP. Never saw the face photo but I'm glad it's gone, pretty sure you can be doxxed via photo metadata
Good. I found it incredibly inappropiate to post someone else's photo. I also found it, quite frankly, dangerous, at the least questionable, to post their own face. But another person's photo pushed it to another level still. I'm strongly with @FireFox on this one. Before coming here, I spent days reading the whole kiwifarms thread on SaSu, and other stuff. What I saw on that forum was deeply disturbing and I think people here may not realize what other people really are capable to do. And that goes beyond the trolling and humiliating. I know many have been hurt heavily by others already, that's not what I mean by saying they don't know what people are capable of. But I think many understimate what can be extrapolated from public personal info, and to what lengths complete strangers can be willing to go with it.
As the saying goes -- if you don't want a doctor to do it, suture self!
@ashtoreth I watch a lot of true crime and follow criminal cases in my city its so scary how people end up getting killed because of online information. People are evil its disturbing.
Ah, my apologies. I think I got the layers mixed up….biology isn't my thing. And of course I agree with you! But i'm a bit of a wierdo, and like looking at them when they're deeper and bleeding alot, it feels more relieving!
