Couldn't remember the name but it was a Hong Kong drama about firefighting. There was a scene where three firemen were trapped and dangling from a lift-shaft-turned-fiery-death-pit. Traumatised me as a child.
Cutest name I've seen in awhile lol

Well besides straight up horror movies, which can scare me even when they're terrible, I have felt traumatized by A Serbian Film. Maybe that says how much of a wimp I am.
Oh hell nah. That movie was fucked up. I think a part of my soul died after watching it.

It's too hopeless.

There's this korean movie called "Silenced" in 2011.

I guess it's traumatizing because it was a real story and even the movie affected the victims court cases.

There this school for the deaf children that's been a breeding ground for abuse but in the end even the justice system let them down.

And the shitty part is that culprits were only punished because of the movie's popularity.

The only reopened the case because its gone public.

Children that cannot speak properly, cannot attest to the abuse had to fucking wait YEARS just to get their abusers in jail.

It think the movie was way too graphic but maybe it had to be that way so that it can left a mark. Even now it makes me hollow inside.

I watch a lot of horror content, both movie and gore, so I haven't been traumatised at all. But the most shocking movies I've watched are:

Salo, or 120 Days of Sodom (child porn, rape, scat, torture and murder, slavery)

A Serbian Film (incest, rape, child porn, murder)

The House That Jack built (murder, child murder)

The Poughkeepsie Tapes (murder, child murder, torture)

On the more milder side, the Human Centipede trilogy is also pretty disturbing.

For the old timers, The Deer Hunter, made in 80s, about friends who are sent to Vietnam and the fallout in their lives. Triggered a huge depression.

My first horror film was Zombie Flesh Eaters. I was 7 years old when I saw him. I was so scared afterwards I thought zombies were everywhere. I didn't want to see horror for years
I've experienced and seen so much I'm not even afraid of death

Grave of the Fireflies as being pretty traumatizing
Dunno if it traumatizing, but Grave of the Fireflies is surely depressing.

As of "uncomfortable", I'd say Begotten, but after all it's just an art project, so I'll go with Mother!, I remember it being really anxiety-inducing.
Then you've got all the mondo subgenre and lots of fake snuff films, but that's another whole topic.

Oddly reminds me of Lavalantula, to this day I'm not sure how any movie can be that comically bad, I guess that's what they were looking for though.

Reality. Every movie pales in comparison to it. Just spend some time watching the news, and I guarantee that it will not take long for you to feel sick.

The Brown Bunny, it's just so slow and miserable and shitty. It effectively ended the career of its Director/Writer/Star Vincent Gallo. I think at the end his character kills himself but its been so long since I've seen it and I refuse to watch it again.

Yeah me and a friend rented this when we were twelve expecting something like Saving Private Ryan or Platoon. We were incredibly bummed out afterwards.
