Venting Trauma resurfacing

I don't have anyone to go to this to but I just had some awful traumatic shit resurface in which my brother as a isolated (like me) kid developed really fucking awful incestuous tendencies towards me that lasted years bc we literally knew barely anyone else. Idk what to do anymore and i jusy feel disgusting and im glad im very fuckingnfarmfrom him and ugh eugh ough ifeel gross

Have you thought about talking to someone you trust about this? It's clear as day that none of that was your fault. But a lot of people who go through similar things tend to blame themselves. I heard it can help if you sit with someone you trust and talk about it. I did a similar conversation with my teacher. I was already self healing a ton by that point so it didn't help as much, but I hope it helps with your situation.

Feeling gross after remembering trauma is also a trauma response (not proof that you are gross)
