I've always considered ctb by train as a fail safe method, but after reading about someone surviving and lose an arm I'm starting to doubt myself.
I was considering going a couple days without sleep, then drink sleep aid and lay on the tracks so the train could decapitate me while I sleep.
Is there flaws to this?

According to this, the survival rate is 3.8%. Quite high lethality. One of the difficulties of this method is spotting the right place where trains run at sufficiently high speed. You should lay on the track right before the train passes instead of sleeping. You'll toss and turn when sleeping and your neck gets off the track. And the operator or pedestrians on the neighboring roads are more likely to find you if you are sleeping for a long time.

If a train hits you, it's over. Decapitation is ideal, but unless you get hit by a slow train, you're done. I still don't think it's reliable because a lot of people's SI will kick in and they'll fright out of it, but the below image NSFW is how you'd ideally go through with it.

Thank you! May I ask if you know the ideal speed range for decapitation?

Sorry I don't know. When it comes to decapitation and not impact, speed might be less important as far as trains are not able to stop before running you over. That being said higher speed is better. Please check the time table of the stations near the site and find when expresses are operating.
