This events can radicalise the others SS users, pretty sure.
What does this mean
As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

well, I only expressed my personal opinion and probably about my own situation. But you are right that almost people here already decided to CTB, still haven't only opportunity and resources to accomplish.I mostly disagree with this. Sure it can contribute to a lot of our sadness, but MOST of us from this website have already come to terms that they want to CTB. It's never a good feeling to watch someone in so much pain decide this is the only way out. I could be wrong to some extent, but I think most of us will not decide to CTB just because someone else on this site decided that they had enough of this world.

Yes it's huge but for some not too hard to make this decision if the suffering is unrelenting.even this two passings seemed pretty peacefull - it doesnt make the final step easier. cause even if you just would have to push a button to end yourself, you would be always aware what huge decision you are about to make.
I tear up. Especially if for example, there is a photo of a hand, holding some ibuprofen, the pictures of the glasses of poison, this person in their last minutes of life, sharing images of what is about to kill them. It's heartbreaking. But once the detail of the actual process comes in, it makes my stomach turn. An overwhelming sense of sadness and deep level thinking about the process and knowledge someone had taken their life as I bore witness to it, even online.

Yet we understand, most of us anyway.
I disagree. At the end of the day, people on here are adults, and they make their own choices. If someone decides to ctb, it's because they wanted to and chose to, most likely due to intense and intolerable suffering.
Nobody can be "radicalized" to do something as drastic as end their own life unless there are pre-existing factors at play that have led them to consider suicide to begin with. We're simply equipped with too many in-built survival mechanisms to be swayed towards suicide simply by reading about it. If people are hell-bent on dying, they will. If they're on the fence, they're likely to stay there until something within them clicks and they override their in-built survival instincts.
Plus, we're on a suicide forum. Presumably, most of us are here because we already want to die. We don't need to be "radicalized" by other people's goodbye threads to ctb...we're already at our limits.
This is what SS is for. Support to the very end, but not encouragement. (<-I see you pro lifers)
They should have an easier way out. They should be allowed to simply drink a strong drug that puts them to sleep. Not drink this vile chemical, that turns their blood to brown sludge. Or rig up something that lets them inhale nitrogen. Risking brain damage. We're not here to encourage anyone to die, but to support them in their final moments, whatever they ultimately decide to do. No one should have to go out alone without support, unless they genuinely want to, of course.

Why do they only understand in Belgium? Why not put this to a national vote?
This was one time where no one came back the next day under her account.
Wasn't she at home when she did it?Cops and her family were already aware she's on this site. They probably lurk/lurked as guests

I think she was in home, unfortunately, because she mentioned a brother. So sad.Wasn't she at home when she did it?
? I don't think they were watching her posts or if they were they would have stopped her. I guess they could have simply read these posts after it happened since they knew of her online activities. My understanding is yes
