Method thoughts on my method?

What I'm thinking is waiting for it to start snowing a lot, then drive out to this isolated spot in the middle of nowhere. I'd bring a couple of alcohol bottles with me, get drunk out of my mind and then cut my arms/wrists open. I've self-harmed while drunk before and I can go extremely deep without fully feeling it. I would not do it in my car as I treasure that shitty thing and don't want any stains on the seats, I'm leaving it for my little brother when he's old enough to drive.
The isolated spot is by an abandoned gravel road, I have literally never seen anyone else around there and while it is near a highway no one ever bothers to go over there. I go there pretty frequently but no one close to me knows where it is.
I refuse to drunk drive so I'd start drinking after I get there, maybe shed my coat so the cold aids in killing me. I haven't done too much research on the effectiveness on this since I'm using a public network and I'm worried about search results getting flagged, if that's even a thing.
I find something poetic about blood on snow, so I know I want to wait until there's actually snow on the ground. Even if I somehow don't bleed out, I could freeze to death, or maybe I'll finally get alcohol poisoning.

I hate saying this but it's snowing pretty heavily here and it looks very pretty. So right now the scene you're painting has appeal.

I looked into hypothermia and it doesn't take long. But you'll have a choice to get back in the car and I think your body will do that. The bitter cold is so painful. For people that die that way when lost or something, it just be awful.

Being drunk affects the ability to perceive and react to cold weather, and if I walk out a bit into the fields while drinking I figure I'll be too disoriented to make it back to my car. I want to do this at night and there are no streetlights out there, so it'd be pretty dark. Could be wrong though. Everything feels much warmer and more pleasant when I'm drunk, hence why I believe it could work to numb the pain. I don't want a painful passing, just a meaningful one.
