Everyone always says says Ctb is the cowards way out. That its easy. I've been here lurking a bit now and researched and even attempted to cause hypoxia with this random bean bag and ratchet strap method. I failed, surprise! I've learned that it's really NOT that easy. There's no easy way out. Although I wish there was. The exit bag seems like a good option but very complicated. Can't seem to navigate the web well enough to get SN or N. What else can I do? Looking for suggestions, comments and general, information.

Yeah, when you really get to grips with ctb, it always boils down to a brief but very profound moment of bravery which allows you to pass the point of no return, whichever method you chose. While some methods, might be 'easier' and some might be more painful, I really do believe that they all require pretty much the same level of bravery necessary to be able to commit.

CO₂ method? That's not a method. You can't use that gas to CTB.

Check the inert gas chapter on the PPeH and PPH Essentials and

I meant to say inert gas. Through exit bag. I'm not good at following directions like the ones in the handbook. It seems good if i can do it right. Just not confident I could do it right.

I know the feeling, impulsively bought SN last week and got it a few days ago. I'd tried many ways. CO2 was an idea I didn't think of but would be a great way. Small tent in a hotel room, load of gorilla tape and a few bbqs on bricks or something to stop them melting the tent. I'd tried ODa and hanging but still here

I certainly understand that it's frustrating when you wish to leave, yet feel so trapped here, I hate how suicide is this difficult and if it was way easier I would be long gone. I view it as being extreme cruelty to force people to exist in a world in which there is no straightforward way to leave all of the suffering behind, I think that when suicide is this hard then existence is so incredibly prison like.

It's just so ignorant when people refer to suicide as being "the easy way out", they have clearly never even researched suicide methods before. Those who refer to suicidal people as being "cowards" are just pro lifers who won't even try to understand so instead they just shame suicidal people as they don't wish to accept suicide as being the perfectly valid option that it is.

Using an EEBD hood is simpler to use if you're intimidated by the Exit Bag

Why wouldn't you be able to? It would just not be very pleasant.
Once there is a CO₂ overaccumulation and your brain triggers the Hypercapnic Alarm Response (unbearable torture and panic) you will try to free yourself by any means necessary (you think you won't but you will).

Oh if you're talking about using it with the exit bag then yeah.

I think it's carbon monoxide poisoning being spoken of, not CO₂
