If SN is "peaceful", it would have been surely much popularised by now as a CTB method, snd we would have heard of famous people or important that had doen it.



Yes I know the "reason" I am given every time I bring this up: suicidal people are really eager to CTB and their suffering therefore methods like EB and SN are not used as much....really? Ordering SN, and drinking it from a cup?



SURELY more people than the current count would have used if it was as told here and by the PPH peaceful-- it's the frightning noose vs peaceful cup--and yet no mention in the media, no attempts by people of means : CEO, celebs, generals and politicians.

Hanging is a lot more known and accessible. People outside of this space don't consider SN because they don't even know it to be an option. Also within Sasu specifically SN is popular

It's relatively new, globally, but it's probably having an exponential rate of growth as far as methods are concerned.

If you're comparing to famous people, they might have more access to firearms, drugs, etc. so perhaps poison is not the go to. Most suicidal people do not read the PPH and know that SN/N even exists, and the media is doing their damndest to keep it that way so more people don't die.

Who said that SN was peaceful? The PPH only gives it a 6 out of 10 for peacefulness, just so you know.

They don't need to, the word should have already gotten out quickly and or reports of abuse of in media reports.

And yeah from 2000 to 2019 it increased 3-fold, similaor in Britain and Netherlands, but I took a look at the numbers are they extremely small in fact it is less that one percent of all CTBs. And poisoning itself is 11 percent (might be ODs but nevertheless).

From the research I did we are kind of a bubble in that respect; and as one who considers it a way to go, the extremely rare usage of it, makes me question it's peacefulness.

The word should have got out by now, it's weird. For years it was on amazon and the numbers show it was and is less then 1% of all CTB. It doesn't make any sense.

The word should've gotten out, yes, but media explicitly does not name the substance or this website to prevent people from dying.

The BBC literally tracked down Mr DSL in Kyiv, wrote a whole article and put his name and photo on the front page, and still didn't say what the actual compound he was selling was.
