Venting there’s something magical about finding the social accounts of someone who died

death seems like such a big thing, but if you ever find the social accounts of someone who died (suicide or otherwise) - it's always… magical?

everything just stopped. they'll never make a post again. their free from their suffering. maybe some people will make tribute comments on their last posts, but eventually people will stop. eventually they will fade into obscurity as if they never existed, they'll finally be at true peace.

i'm excited for the day my accounts go as cold as my body, to finally never experience suffering again…

It does seem like a nice legacy of sorts. I wonder how many people bother to go looking though.

Do you ever wonder how many messages you'll receive that will go ananswered afterwards? That's a weird idea. That for a time, our inboxes will still be filling up.

i frequently think about that. i know that i will get quite a few from people who will message me on discord knowing i died but send the messages anyway for their own peace of mind

i also know a bunch of people will message me not knowing i died and think i'm just ignoring them

There's someone I message/ they message me on the same day each week. Almost like celebrating a day of the week. They know how I feel and they've said it will be weird not having that. Thinking I should maybe set up delayed messages for that day. So 'ghost' me can honour the tradition.
