• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

This is just as agonizing as cancer; that's not being dramatic either.

To me it's horrible how existing can torture people so much and yet not cause them to cease existing when they want to die, the problem lies in the fact that humans are programmed to survive.

Totally agree. I can't say I'm knowledgable enough to know for sure but it seems like the diagnosis of mental illness is VERY different to physical illness. Especially when it comes to judging whether assisted suicide should be granted. I'd really like to know whether there are physiological changes to the brain in severe mental health cases and whether some of these are irreversable and not easy to treat. In which case- that surely is a cut and dry cause to allow someone assisted suicide. I don't understand why more research isn't being done on this- I guess maybe it is... Still- dignosing an illness purely based on symptoms and then just kind of experimenting with what medications/ therapies seem to affect it seems VERY unscientific!

Agreed. Why won't mental illness be kind enough to kill me.

anorexia can become "terminal", I've heard of a few people with chronic anorexia put on end of life care. I know that's not what you mean though
