Venting There is no such thing as free will

You are born against your will.

You don't get to choose the gender you are born with and if you feel like you're in the wrong body, people treat you as if you aren't even human.

You have to go to school against your will.

You have to work for the rest of your life against your will.

Even though nobody asked to be born and many people wish that they aren't alive, society forces them to live and doesn't allow allow a painless way to die.

I agree that we are almost powerless in this society, we have no power to stop our suffering and there is no sign of anything changing.

We are all victims of ourselves, victims of our genes, victims of our upbringing by our family or other people. There is no free will, it's really predetermined how you end up. People don't and can't change. That's how I see it

I see it as such a curse having the ability to exist in this reality where chance so cruelly determines everything. I just wish humans were compassionate enough to leave the non-existent alone in peace and not burden them with the ability to suffer, existence really is so unnecessary.
