• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I know therapy works for many people but it doesn't for me. I feel like I'm sitting listening to a person ask me what I think about everything. If I knew what I was thinking about this I would probably be way less depressed. I dislike trying to view things from rose-colored glasses and stop thinking about things or problems that can't be answered.

I just hate it.

My therapist doesn't even have any advice anymore. I just get told to radically accept things write how I feel, and what im grateful for breath deep etc. Stuff i could find online. I just talk about random stuff in sessions. I've had quite a few sessions but it doesn't seem to be helping as usual. This is my 11th therapist or something lol. Idk really. I'm tired

I relate to everything you complained about how many therapists have you seen?

I agree with you and I'm glad that I'm not the only few people who are skeptical or even critical over therapy (talk therapy, psychotherapy, counseling, etc.). It too, has never been helpful, and sometimes even risky because saying the "wrong" thing can lead to more trouble (detainment, locked up against one's will, then being billed for such services that one never really wanted to being with!). This is also coming from someone who has been through about a dozen or so mental health professionals (MHPs) throughout his life, so I definitely know how futile it is for my own personal circumstances. I just wish society and people do not jump to conclusions and use that seek therapy line as a way to quickly dismiss another's problems and yet humble-brag about how they "did something helpful" when in fact, nothing meaningful or positive happens (and sometimes negative consequences come from such).

Anyways, sorry I'm rambling about myself, but in the end, I agree with what you said and yes, therapy sucks for a lot people but people don't really acknowledge that fact...
