• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    šŸ‘‰ View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Anybody else feel like the worst part of recovery isn't the struggle to maintain a healthy mindset but how slow of a process it is? I feel like I am waiting and waiting for a recovery that I want to happen now, but it won't and I just have to wait. Sooo much waiting. I was waiting to die now I'm waiting to live. Sigh sigh sigh sigh sigh sigh sigh sig hsig hsg isgh sgsguhshugshusghsgggggggggg

John Lennon was supposed to have said, "Life is what happens to you while you are waiting for something else".

The point he was making was that many people see their lives as consisting of big events like graduating school, getting married, or getting a good job, etc. while missing the richness that can be found even in the smallest of daily activities. Reading a good book, saying something kind to a store clerk, or learning something new can all add a richness to each day that many miss.

yeah I understand. The thing I struggle the most with in my recovery is that I was so used to look for instant gratification in everything I did wether if it was to avoid negative feelings (getting drunk, having sex,...) or in tasks ( reading a book in the same day, being the best at something from the beginning,...) that now all of this need to get things immediately translates to a really bad anxiety. I“ve been working on my patience and been dealing with anxiety by using the radical acceptance method where you just accept everything as it comes, putting all those high expectations away.
