Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Enshittification is a term that describes the process when companies make a product worse in order to make more money with it. It often works when a company has a monopoly. Google made their search engine worse so that people have to search longer in order to find what they want. By doing that Google could show more ads.

You know many people already hate AI chatbots. But the free versions most of the people use will probably become a lot worse. So that these companies can sell their subscription models. The polarization could become a lot worse. And I read there might come a time point where a technology is that big that it is almost impossible to boycot.
